PLA Anti-Air Missile (SAM) systems

Number of missiles is still debated, I guess. There could be quad packed missiles in there. There is a hint of a line dividing each lid into 4 sections.
Plus, the container looks like 1.5 to 2 meters long. That's manpad missile class. But it's far too wide for a single Manpad missile. So I guess the jury is still out on the matter.

Do you guys have a bit more insight on the new SAMs? It seems the likes of HQ-11 and HQ-20 are short to medium range judging by size. HQ-9C also has smaller missiles. What are the new SAMs replacing/supplementing in the current SAM line-up?

Hq-11 seems like a decent choice to replace hq-6, for terminal base protection.

Hq-20 is a bit more puzzling to me, with all the other missiles out there, there seems to be a lot of overlap of capabilities.

My best guesses are either it is abm optimized, like pac3, or perhaps that it is to replace hq22 in production, if they managed to get enough performance from it for as little money as hq22 costs.

They both seem to be part of the air force contingent on parade, so I am not even considering ground army service.

Having seen some sat image (not allowed to share), this thing (HQ-8?) could already be in service in a ETC SAM bgd.
How are they getting targeting data for this though? I would imagine something like this would be to deny USAF tankers and AWACs access to the entire westpac. If they could get these on next gen cruisers and large destroyers and create a fully functional kill chain, the impact of this would be insane. Chinese naval assets could stay safely behind friendly lines while denying entire oceans worth of airspace for enemy force multipliers.

There's new HQ-22A in the same parade, doesn't quite work out. Though it's indeed a development of previous generation of SAM
My original guess it's some sort of S-350, existing both standalone to cover an important niche, and within other systems.
But yes, PLAAF now has so many layers it becomes hard to make sense of it.
