I once again need some help with either a translation or even more location: All I understand is, taht a J-7B / J-7II unit called allegedly the "Northern Xinjiang Flying Tigers" retired their J-7s ... (via @齐天的孙猴子)

But according top my list the only WTC unit that was flying J-7 - besides some training units - is/was the 112th Air Brigade at Malan, which's status is unconfirmed!

What he means is that the 63rd Brigade is the last J-7 unit in recent years that hasn’t been reported to have undergone a fleet upgrade; it remains unclear whether the PLAAF had completely phased out the J-7 from its combat units by 2025.

Wow ... that makes perfectly sense too and is the name indeed "Northern Xinjiang Flying Tigers"?

Any hint on the new type they get or already got?

Thanks a lot!

7) PLAAF is fan of Gulf War era USAF and strives to be a new generation of that ideal Air Force. Commanders and pilots eagerly await US performance in upcoming war against Iran to see if they still “got it” so to speak from not just combat point of view but how logistics, strategy, prep work for contingencies click into place.
Have there been any updates from them (or others) yet on how PLA assesses the conflict so far? Quite curious where their appraisal of things stands, should've been plenty of conclusions made by now.

这仗目前到了什么地步呢,上面领导说这仗你们还是得学习学习,看看有什么可学习的。然后底下人交战场学习心得的时候报告说美军领导层决策果断,在一旦得知伊朗领导层位置敢于当场决策炸死他们
PLA grunts praise Trump and BiBi on quick decision making.
