Have been there any news regarding China and Active cancelation technologies as part of EW development?
Active cancelation isn't exactly new technology and has been in the press for two decades ( with the French pursuing it for three decades). It is one of the things the SPECTRA is rumored to be good at.

For the top picture, it looks like theres a white square above the green building in the background obscuring something - does anyone have any ideas on what this might be? The pic was taken at Dachang/Shanghai airbase, and the Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Company, which repairs JH-7s and H-6s is right next to it.

Why exactly do they practice anti-submarine munitions against targets on land? Is there a reason for this?

Good question. I have no idea.
I wonder if PLAN requires torpedos be dropped with a certain degree of accuracy. For what reason, I don't know. For a self-propelled device, being precisely delivered would seem to matter less. Anyway, painting bullseyes on land is easier than setting targets on ocean surface.

For the simple reason they can't mark target on the surface of the sea so they have to do it on land

But how can you measure how far the mines veered from the target? Unless you recover the dummy mines from the sea too much work. On the land you know exactly how accurate it your targeting and dropping at the target
