I do not understand why people would be brain washed enough to do this. I think those seven terrorists (animals) are carefully selected and hardened experienced fighters and not fresh indoctrinated recruits.

Kwai said humans are inherently evil and that can simply be explained by the theological concept that humans has a nature to sin. In other words, there is a choice to abstain from evil and to do good. Kwai did not say babies are inherently evil - - that is simply a narrative of your own choosing.

A friendly remind, thunder. Since this is an international forum whose members made up of many nations, races and religions, and if you call "Islamist" as bad guys in a general term, I think it would make many Muslim members feeling uncomfortable. No matter what the dictionaries above explain, I suggest you using more obvious terms like "Extremist". That would be more clear that you point to a small group of people rather than the whole religion.

I had a read of his article but IMHO it misses the main tenets entirely as it tries to deal with the issue from the standpoint of politics and policy rather than from the perspective of religion and theology. In short, if the premise is misdirected, the conclusion is off tangent.

"Islamist" is a fairly mainstream term used by media . For example, below is an article by Reuters .

Anyway, if the mods find that offensive, I would not use it , but I cannot really walk on eggs over every word I say because it may offend someone .

The attached article from last year highlighted the issue with its usage and the meaning attached to it. Accordingly there was a revision.

Media is the problem they use this term then narrow minded people start using this term but educated ones know better I guess your not the latter in this case but then what could we expect from a white supremacist like Thunderchief he knows what he's saying and he is doing it deliberately this isn't the first time including personal messages to me

You are exactly right Asif, they have an agenda to vilify men of faith, whether Moslem, Christians, or Jewish??? I am at a complete loss to explain SDF posters indifference to a brother and his concerns, but rest assured that most of us do not feel that way, and my most sincere apologies to you as you seem to always operate in "good faith".
