Perfumes and Colognes

Now I know the men in this forum are very mature and manly men. I am curious as to what perfumes and colognes you use on a daily and special occasion basis. I will start: I use Cool Water by Davidoff on a regular basis. I am on the younger side so the cologne fits me. It has a great oceanic fragrance which I think gives off a sporty, relaxed and chill vibe - perfect for me.

I am interested in exploring the Issey Miyake line of men's fragrances.

I have been using chanel "allure homme blanche edition" for a couple of years now. When I need to go to the office or when going out with friends.

A old friend suggested this one because I'm way too simple of a guy to really care about reading about this stuff.

I just bought a new cologne to destress. Versace Pour Homme Dylan Blue. Absolutely fantastic. It was designed by Alberto Morillas who is one of the top perfumers in the world.

It has a great musky, smoky smell which is perfect for dining occasions. It is seriously long lasting, maybe because the notes themselves are long lasting - musky and smoky smells by nature lingers a long time. You can wear it to fine dining and even to BBQ restaurants, Peking duck restaurants, the smokiness of the restaurant isn't going to dilute or corrupt your cologne lol.

I think during this covid times they're throwing in a free travel spray and deodorant for free as part of the package. You can spritz it after work as you head for your date or just for a drink at the izakaya - perfect for evening occasions.

Just bought La Nuit De L’Homme Bleu Electrique. Smells fantastic. Very similar to the original La Nuit De L’Homme but with a little bit of freshness.

Why are you guys not buying Chinese perfumes? Traitors hehe
There aren't enough Chinese perfumers yet who have studied at the top perfume schools in France or perfume school in Japan. Also in Asia the dominant fragrance companies are Japanese ie Takasago.

Well if anyone is interested in collaborating in starting up a Chinese fragrance company contact me.
