Hi all, seeing that there was a bit of interest around the recent visit by the Shenzhen and Weishanhu to Pakistan, India and Thailand, I just thought I'll post some pics of visits by other navies to Chinese ports...enjoy.

Royal Thai Navy visits Shanghai 03 March 2005

The fleet consisted of 3 ships. TYPE 25T frigate, HTMS Naresuan 421, the older Jianghu type frigate HTMS Bangpakong 456 and LST722 HTMS Surin. Its total crew of 870 officers and sailors spent 5 days in Shanghai as part of celebrations for the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Thailand and China.

Royal Australian Navy visits Zhanjiang and Shanghai

02 April 2005 HMAS Canberra (FFG02) in Zhanjiang. Our very own Perry class frigate on was her very last deployment before being decomissioned on the 5th of November.
