Personally I do not like the olympics at all. Haven't sice I was a child. Boring!!! The last Olympics I watched was the 1964 summer games from Toyko. I was 11 then ...Damn I'm old!!!

Well the Winter Olympics is one of those oddities, because relatively few nations can compete. But there is a chance we will get some medals, a real achievements given that we have very little all-year-round snow in the UK!

Canadian women won a gold today in the downhill ski mogul race. The US men won a gold in speed skating as well. Personally I really dont like the olympics but Im rooting for the US.

Anyhow, good to see Canada getting on the gold medal sheet this early. Last time, we were shut out until Catriona Lemay Doan won her event. I see better than a 6 gold performance from Canada this time.
