Do not expect Fallout 5 until 2035. The Elder Scrolls 6 won't be coming till 2028 at the earliest, with a potential 2029 release. They might decide to take another year to polish it if their announcement receives the same feedback that Starfield did.

So some good news came out recently. While we might not be getting Fallout 5 till sometimes next decade, Obsidian is officially back to making Fallout again.
From the sounds of it, it's either gonna be Fallout New Vegas 2 or New Vegas 1 Remake/Remaster. I'm leaning towards New Vegas 2 since the Oblivion Remaster guys are working on the Fallout 3 Remaster and will most likely move on to the New Vegas Remaster immediately after they are done with 3.
This leaves room for Obsidian to focus on the sequel to New Vegas. If they work fast, we can potentially get Fallout 3 Remaster, Fallout New Vegas Remaster, and Fallout New Vegas 2 by the end of this decade.

New Vegas 2 except it is set in Las Vegas, New Mexico in the heart of the Legion territory.
Doesn't the legion's territory go past Kansas to the East? With Caesar gone, I wonder if the legion is now like a splinter group. If the game takes place a bit into the future, I can see it splitting into multiple smaller factions due to infighting.
