About ~480 - ~500mm against kinetic (like DM33) in early 99 and probably about ~540mm against KE for 99 late according to ~70 degrees UFP - that's all without ERA FY-IV, which increases it's protection up to 25-30% against KE because of thickness of throwing plate.

If we talk about 99A, according to UFP degrees back to ~68 deg. and increased thickness (up to about ~230mm - ~250mm against ~205mm - 225mm for 99-II), it should have about ~600mm against KE without ERA.

P.S. That's only assumptions, since none of armor packages documents were published.

We can not truly verify stuff from that leaked presentation though.

It can range from a spectrum of all true ----- to all false (and it can ofc be somewhere in the middle).

I doubt in those stats because of the difference between hull and turret armor packages. Hull UPF LOS is about ~670mm (if ~250mm/68 thickness is correct, according to LOS), meanwhile turret armor LOS could reach even 900+mm. Consider that the package consists not only of steel, I suppose 7** shown is for turret, meanwhile hull is about 600mm against KE without ERA.

Btw, what is the ERA on that old prototype? Seems different than that on the final production version, and also different than those on previous ZTZ-99. Here are clearer images of it (probably posted before):
