New obnoxious ad behaviour

Has anyone else been experiencing new ads that randomly pop up and take up the whole screen when you are just trying to perform normal actions like view notifications or just general navigation?

This is getting incredibly annoying to the point I am finding myself visiting the forum less as a direct result.

I appreciate the website needs revenue to keep the lights on, but such obnoxious ad behaviour is really beneath the standards of website like this one.

Yes, on my mobile phone, I had an giant full screen ad. Never happened before, pretty annoying...starting yesterday.

Same here. I thought it was my tablet but eh whatever. The bills must be paid and besides this forum is one of the few sane one's I can find and been able to maintain my sanity and actually learn something tangible as well as able to agree to disagree with members here on topics that don't disintegrate into a mess.

Basically I get the full phone screen ad every time I load the site.

I am aware of this, just testing something. Bear with me please.

Hi, in the past week or so, the mobile ads on phone has been full-screen ads which is quite annoying. Is there a way to show ads that don't occupy the entire screen? It jus started recently..

Below are my two cents,

We recently have two types of ads, the first one pops up from bottom or top depending on type of device being used. The second pops up full screen when opening a new thread.

As I have always said that I'm fine with ads as they generate income to the forum but too many ads would be annoying. For the above two types of ads, I suggest you remove one of them. Either one would be fine for me.

The ads on mobile do occupy a little too much real estate but I’m thoroughly enjoying Rafael trying to sell me a Spike-ER2 ATGM or two on here

Been getting similar ads on mobile, and do tend to take up the notification bar
