An OT post: Gee! BP, you got great collections of "The Empire"! But isn't Lord Vadar's son, the (new) skywalker - the last Jedi?

Back to topic, To treat senior member and fresh member with the same amount of (precaution? vigilant watch?) to keep threads flow smooth, is much more important than "having lots military knowledge on his own", I guess.

I come from a country where "prestigious person" flood the society, and I've seen what's the result, I guess.

Yes I know but in my Star Wars universe Vader is the last Jedi. Remember he smote all the Jedi because Emperor Palpatine told him to do so? So in his(my) pre-New Hope mind he is the last Jedi. Besides that, I'm running the show...

I second FriedRiceNSpice -- he's one of the old guard and his contributions are always interesting.

I think Deino would make an excellent mod, he's always respectful and knowledgeable on whatever subject he comments on. Also he's a published author in many prominent aviation magazines, maybe he'll plug sinodefence more if we make him a mod

WebMaster is the emperor in my little Star Wars Universe. He has powers I cannot match The rest do not matter. I like to use my Star Wars universe for fun.

A good moderator doesn't need to know much, if anything, about the matter being discussed to be an effective moderator. It's about behaviour, not whether someone is "right". If anything it might be handy to have someone who really doesn't know much about the topic because then they won't get drawn into the debate. A moderator needs to look at the situation and look at a way to deal with it.

But that's just my view.
