guys guys guys, i think most of us know about this most hidious crime commited by the Imperial Japanese Army, during WWII. but lets not post the pictures right here, links are fine. I do invite un-informed members to visit those sites, and witness these crimes, but lets not expose these images to passerbys. Some of the members here are not of legal age yet. Thx

The German is I believe John Rabe.

The current figure given by most historian is 150,000 - 250,000, with a lower limit of about 40,000.

To forestall accusations of revisionism, a lower limit is the absolute floor of a figure, not to be taken as an estimate. For example if you found three thousand bodies, you know at least three thousand died, so that is lower limit.

I think there are estiamtes between 40,000 to 400,000 in nanking massacre, the 40,000 figures are only used by some right wings advacates in Japan. Most historians put the numbers between 100,000-350,000.

its not porn, but these images are very graphic, and thus we should try to restrain public displays of them.

I myself is chinese, and will always remember this crime committed by the janpanese. So I harbor deep feelings towards these images, but i just dont think we should parade them around, there are other places where these images can rest. im not against the links, just the display of the actual images on this board.

As the past has shown, our forum cannot discuss this matter civiliced, so we dont allow discussions of it at all...

How many more times do i have to tell you that we are military forum, NOT political BS forum to deliberatly rooting anti-japanese atmoshphere and country-bashing. As far as it goes, Nanking massacares are historical events, Nothing to do with military, and remember this is Chinese MILITARY history section to discuss about historical phases of chinese military, not chinese history in general.
