my master plan

so you've come here in search for my master plan? well here it is:
1) get a good video card
2) get battlefield 2
3) install both
4) play! yaaaaaaaaay!!!

that's right, what did you expect to find? the plan to dominate the world?
anyway, here's where you come in:
how good is a radeon x1300 pro? is it worth $119 CND?

Im looking at that model and i am thinking nice card, im am looking at the price and i am like hmm, im not sure about the price, you could try a 7800GT as well, or if you really want bloody get 2 of them with SLi.

stay away from ATI (although AMD is set to buy that company). I'm an NVIDIA user.

you need to add a 5th step: download POE2 mod when it comes out!

anyway, the plan is a success. i got both, well, actually i got the x1600pro instead because it's just $20 more and i've heard it's better for gaming. and off i go to bf2!

PS: it's amazing how i had a crappy vid card but an incredible CPU: radeon 9200 and a 3.4GHz CPU...

5. might want more RAM
6. write complain letter to DICE/EA for their shitty jobs at the 1.3 patch AND that stupid 30K points you need once you hit First Sergeant
7. pray 1.4 comes out before schools starts

I run the game at max setting since i got NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX 256MB last month and it still lags

i need more at least 1 GB of more RAM but probably not gonna get it since school is gonna start and going to buy a laptop soon and with the 1.3 patch and stupid 30 K points for First Sergeant i gave up on the stupid game...
I use to play during the begining of summer fo like 1-2 hours a day, now i play for 30 minutes

Max whats your BF2 SN? the POE is pretty nice although i'll take Wake or Karkland over it anyday

ya, i only have 512mb of ram, sucks because i always get in the servers later than everyone else and everyone's already crowding at the airfield waiting for someone to crash their planes. there are quite a few people who play this game with 4 gig... overachiever...

im at lance corporal, and it won't be long until i advance to the next rank. surprisingly enough, my very first kill on BF2 was with a shock paddle, hehe, that's what he get for backing into me when i tried to revive my teammate.

PS: wake is so one sided, i've never seen chinese lose, although it came pretty close once...

Patch 1.4 was supoused to be out today but was delayed due to an installer error so it will hopefully be out tommorow. AND THEN POE 2!!!!

play with a good team or in a good server with teamspeak and i'll guarantee you that PLA would get their ass kicked
I think in the whole game my favorite side is MEC (AK-101 ), USMC (M24 ), and PLA (I hate all PLA weapons even more than I hate all the unlockable weapons).. all the PLA maps are too big and pointless for infantry to fight in. they need to make a city map something that the Type-88 Sniper rifle can actually be useful in
the only time i played PLA was when i was a noob in the start whoring the carrier with the J-10 and WZ-10 then it pretty much got useless and pointless
