Hello,

As the discussions in many forums have allowed for a wider range of emotional expressions, with more humorous, and sarcastic, posts being the most common, I was wondering if it would be possible to add more emoji responses to the like button. The “shaking my head” emoji, in particular, would be the most apropos response to many of the off-color posts being made.

Thanks for the consideration!

absolutely agree. instead of replying to off-topic posts and taking up page space, use a :rolleyes:/ (-_-) emoji to indicate slight disapproval. That would be a much more accurate response than just

my personal list of proposed emojis:

-> already on the reply emoji list, but not on the like button

I would absolutely love to use all of these. so intuitive to convey our response accurately.

Barf react is ESSENTIAL as I've said many times. If you're only gonna add one make it this. It's all I want for Christmas.

C'mon the mobile dropdown ads are still here at least let us have this

Posting 'reactions' to show disagreement is for sheep. It's a herd tactic.

If you wanna "shake your head" then post your argument in response, so that your view is also open to criticism.

This proposal only lowers the level of discourse.

p.s. I'd even support removing the "like" button for the same reason, on principle, if it was proposed, even though I "like" it.

I liked a statement advocating the removal of the like button. Paradoxical.

I think there are too many reaction buttons as it is; I'd support it going back to just like. There's enough passive-aggressive needling that goes on in this forum, we don't need to add rolleyes emoji reactions to it.
