Israel to test ‘warning system’ in Ukraine – media​

Israel will test an early warning system in Ukraine next month, Axios reported on Thursday. While the system is reportedly more capable than Ukraine’s existing missile detection technology, it cannot stop incoming fire.

Israeli military officers met with their Ukrainian counterparts in Poland several times in recent months to arrange the trial, Axios reported, citing officials from Kiev and Tel Aviv. The trial will take place in Kiev, and if successful, be expanded to other Ukrainian cities.

Several versions of the system have been active in Israel since 2005. According to a report in the Times of Israel, it “uses a mix of radar and electro-optic devices to detect rocket, missile, and drone launches, classify the size and the threat they represent, and pinpoint on a map the areas that are in danger.” Residents of these areas then receive smartphone, TV, or radio alerts advising them to seek shelter.

Axios’ sources said that the system will need to be tweaked to account for Ukraine’s vast land area compared to Israel, and to detect the missiles and drones used by Russian forces, which are far more advanced than the Qassam rockets used by Palestinian militants.

BMW's apology is dishonest, the two workers were following BMW's orders exactly, this is seen from how they smiled at the foreigner. You don't feel like others are stepping all over our dignity? Can you still stand straight?

Hard truth here, this ice cream discrimination is nothing compare to the mother of all humiliation how the Chinese were treated by the Japanese during the Japs occupations and yet Chinese flocks to Japan for holidays like no tomorrow, admires Japanese brands ( cars, anime, electronics and etc) even until today. Chinese people are partly to blame on how they were perceived. In this ice cream episode the middle management and the girls who served the ice cream ( who are probably Chinese) should have said F*CK NO to BMW top management if that was the discriminatory policy passed down by the German Top management. I am quiet sure from now, a few months from now if BMW facing bankruptcy due to this episode and were to offer a 50% sale on their car, many Chinese will forget about this incident and flock to their showrooms.

Like a 3 years old child, the child will first cry to get mom's attention, if ignored will start throwing tantrum, then throwing his toys at the mum and if the mum keep ignoring , the child will do a self-harm by knocking his head on the wall . So you tell me who is the adult in China/US relation?

Super tiring to follow the amount of nonsense from US politicians nowadays, esp on this "war-game" thingy and also the latest Yellen statement portraying US as the good guy etc etc.

Hats off to the Chinese government for their extreme patience, I think no other nations could have quietly tolerate such acts for long.
