Discussion with NATO for what, China considers NATO as an outdated cold war entity that serves the US's interest only. And boxing China in AI and nuclear warheads when the West tries to contain and suppress China with nothing to offer except empty words.

“We don’t regard or assess China as an adversary but China poses some challenges to our interests, to our NATO values and to our security,” Stoltenberg said Tuesday. “That makes it even more important to engage with China because we see they are investing in new modern capabilities, long-range missiles, more than tripling the number of nuclear warheads in a few years.”

Stoltenberg said it would be in China’s interest to provide more transparency about their nuclear arsenal, including with verifiable limits. “China should be willing to sit down and engage in more arms control agreements, including limits on their number of nuclear warheads,” he said.

Boneheads, NATO stands for North Atlantic Treaty Organization. China doesn't border the Atlantic.

Wow.... down to begging now, indicative of how far they've fallen.

Imagine the rest of the world, back in the 19th century, seeked a deal with colonial Europeans over responsible and transparent genocide, slavery and land stealing.

“How did you go bankrupt?” Bill asked.

“Two ways,” Mike said. “Gradually and then suddenly.”

“What brought it on?”

“Friends,” said Mike. “I had a lot of friends. False friends. Then I had creditors, too. Probably had more creditors than anybody in England.”

It seems there is a structural problem with how the US Military handles classified information. Don't ask me how I know it but I know this is not how it is done in most of Europe. Specific positive vetting is required in Europe.
BTW there is a post on Quora a former 688i sonarman talking about exercises he had against Ohio classes. He even has detection ranges on the post.

The US Navy has no path to challenge the PLAN-CCG-MM in the Indo-Pacific.

The USN has a legal inventory requirement for 31 amphibious warships but wants to reduce that number in favor of other investments...without asking Congress to remove the legal requirement.

The gCaptain article and its links provide a good summary of the USN's inability to chart a path forward.

TLDR - Rice is a threat to humanity says Western Media.

Just want to note:

Rice is 19-21% of global caloric intake and in exchange for it's emissions.
Global methane emissions in 2021 was ~560 Mt. 1 kg of methane is 25 CO2-eq. That means, if Rice is 10% of global methane emissions, it is producing 1.4 Gt of CO2-eq.

For comparison, cows (beef + dairy) produce 4.6 Gt of CO2-eq but are only responsible for 1% of global caloric intake.

That means Rice is 62.5-69x more calorie-emission efficient than cows.

I don't know what's more absurd than a country having legal mandates for the number of military platforms. That is military-industrial-congressional-complex right there AKA corruption.

I recommend that the U.S. House of Representatives pass a bill. The bill's name is “Beijing needs to make its intentions clear

Gather around boys and girls, time for some Chinese proverb lessons. You can't ever hope to reintegrate with the Chinese society if you don't know basic stories, like that of the Guizhou Donkey.

Thousands of years ago, donkeys were not found in Guizhou province. But meddlers were always allured by anything. So they shipped one into this area.
One day, a tiger was walking around to find something to eat, when he saw the strange animal. The huge newcomer frightened him quite a bit. He hid between the bushes to study the donkey watchfully. It seemed all right. So, the tiger came near to the donkey to have a close look. 'Hawhee!'—a loud noise burst upon, which sent the tiger running away as fast as he could. He could not have any time to think before he settled himself home. The humiliation stung in him. He must come back to that strange thing to see it through, even though he was still haunted by the terrible noise.
The donkey was enraged when the tiger got too close. So, the donkey brought his unique skill to bear on the offender—to kick with his hooves. After several bouts, it became very clear that the donkey's power was too much. The tiger jumped upon the donkey in time and cut its throat."
People are usually told the story to illustrate the limitations of tricks and trickery. Cheap tricks never last.

A significant message, in light of Beijing's new role as regional peacemaker: Israel calls on China to restrain

's nuclear program. Also significant: it is now China that is presumably in a position to take action, instead of the US..

interesting time ahead guys.
China has no leverage over Israel, so China is not going to "restrain" Iran. If Iran's nuclear program is to be "restrained" so should Israel abolish its nuclear weapon. Although Iran should accept Israel's existence, Israel should also simultaneously stop planning to bomb Iran's facility or sabotaging Iran.

If Israel want China to do anything about Iran, Israel has to give something in return. Israel cannot live on US "protection" and do whatever it want while demanding China to "restrain" Iran or Palestinian Arabs.

China is not stepping into western Asia to favor someone over others. China treats everyone equal.

I think the Israelis know what I am saying.
