I'm really curious to hear from all these people thinking this was a "disaster" for China to list out what the geopolitical consequences exactly are from the meeting, how Chinese foreign policy is allegedly suffering for it right now, and what China could've done differently.

What did you expect, for Chinese diplomats to tell VDL to go f*ck herself? That's not how any of this works.
IMHO China should have kept strategic ambiguity for its own sake, considering that the outcome of the conflict in Ukraine has important consequences for China. Now NATO believes that Russia is fighting on its own, which will very likely encourage US brinkmanship and may lead to a disaster in Ukraine.

I'm not of Polish descent. I'm Polish, currently in Poland and eating Polish sausage chicken.

This is a very insightful comment. However, it's evident that the vile Anglo-Saxon creation which you described is precisely what Russia, China, and many other countries in the world are fighting against. Are you and the rest of the like minded Poles so Russophobic that you would rather join this evil just because it's fighting against Russia? I wonder, if Russians fights against an alien invasion aiming to wipe out entire humanity, are you going to side with the aliens?

Coincidentally I just listened to this lecture a few days ago. Political assassination is a like the national pastime for Japanese people, it's deeply ingrained in their culture.

LMAO. Deal with it.

Mark Swidan was caught selling ~64 kilograms of crystal meth and ~366 grams of other kinds of drugs in China. China's death penalty starts at a mere 50 grams of drug trade.

Instead of bemoaning and complaining, they should feel thankful that China didn't send him straight to the firing range right after his initial sentencing.

Why do some of these people (especially those from the West, sorry to be direct) believe that they still have some kind of extraterritoriality rights in the "uncivilized" rest of the world like in the 1900s? This isn't just regarding China - countries with strict drug enforcement and heavy punishment against offenders like Singapore and Indonesia too often suffers from the same criticism from the West whenever they pass down capital punishment against Westerners caught bringing and selling drugs on their soil.

Just shut up and respect the local laws and rules. If you don't want to, just leave ffs.

Xi to Biden - "bend over and, take it bitch"

This is very much a case of "play stupid games, win stupid prizes". The savvy dealers know to keep their illicit business out of East and Southeast Asia, so the ones that do get caught are either the pawns and/or the idiots too dumb to live.

It is pretty much confirmed that this is an assassination. Underneath the stable and claim within Japanese society, anger, despair resentment and many other issues are spreading. If Japanese government would pay more attention by fixing domestic affair instead of raising tax to support defense spending.

With the development of China's industrial capital, financial capital, and national defense capabilities, it is increasingly impossible for developed countries to transfer their own conflicts through unfair competition between industrial capital and financial capital, and to create conflicts to allow the world's wealth to flow back.

When conflicts that cannot be transferred accumulate and erupt in the country, the next step is competition in the level of national governance.

Such incidents will definitely not be the last.

The moment the world regains its calm is the moment when the G7, which once took advantage of exporting class contradictions and mistook the advantages resulting from exporting class contradictions for its own system and even racial advantages, re-understands itself.

It was also the moment when they let go of its racist arrogance and bowed to the idea of a "community with a shared future for mankind".
