It's a smaller version of what US has, which makes sense because it pretty much is an extension of US, like how Ukraine or Poland were extensions of Soviet hardware.
Poland and Ukraine only worked in GCI environment on hands me down tech.
the point i was making that Pacific countries like Australia, Japan, Korea are much more effective when you look at comprehensive defensive/offensive capabilities which is lacking in Europa.

Numbers are important here, how much more do US forces in Australia add to the overall US military?
instead of asking what US can add. ask what Germany will add if Germany truly pivots to Indo Pacific. do you realize what will happen to F-35 and B-21 production rates if Germany truly enters those Programmes with budget of Pentagon. The quantity and sophistication will scale up exponentially. Its Germanic politics that have kept Europa weak, divided and thats what Russia like about Germany. it still want to engage Germany but German political system too rigid at this point. Russia got lucky that it got German speaking president who has deep understanding of Germany and Israel. This Ukraine operation didnot property reflect the German way of fighting as it took too long to transition from Soviet to Russian systems. most of stuff is inexpensive modernization of Soviet tech and certainly not want train top tier skill people on those systems. Its better to have young blood for new system like T-14/T-15 so they can stay long term. 20 years of modernization to factory cannot scale up Su-57 it new extra dedicated space. do you think any other firm can create Ka-52M that maintain heavy loads at extremely low attitude flight over long distance. slight error or unreliability it will hit the ground or obstacle. margin of error is slim to none.

The Indigenous people living on the shrinking two-thirds of the island not already consumed by U.S. military bases have little to no choice in the matter.

Today, Guam is recognized as one of only 17 "non-self-governing territories" recognized by the UN. The UN has rebuked "the impacts of the United States of America's increased military presence in Guam and the failure to protect the indigenous Chamorro people from the loss of their traditional lands, territories, and resources; serious adverse environmental impacts; the loss of cultural artifacts and human remains; as well as the denial of the right to free, prior and informed consent and self-determination."

"Today, the massive buildup of military infrastructure and personnel currently being undertaken in Guam has negatively impacted natural and cultural resources," Won Pat-Borja said. "Harm is also being inflicted upon the political, social, and economic wellbeing of the people of Guam, particularly the indigenous Chamoru people of Guam whose historical dispossession continues today."

The construction of a firing range at Camp Blaz located along the island's northern pressed on despite protests from local residents against the destruction not only of natural habitats deemed vital for the medicinal practices of the Chamorro culture, but also sacred sites and burial grounds.

"The confines of unincorporated Territory status continue to enable the U.S. military to do as it pleases in Guam with no consent from and little regard for the people who call it home." he added. "The current U.S. military expansion and buildup in Guam has led to primarily younger people developing increasing frustration and anger. There are many in the community who are critical. We are very concerned."

"We are extremely grateful for the incredible support we receive from the community and the immense patriotism demonstrated." Admiral Benjamin Nicholson said. "Guam is the tip of America's spear, a strategically valuable asset."

I can't imagine a more fitting punishment.

A restructuring of their mental image is needed in order for supremacists to coexist with the rest of the world. National exceptionalism forms a core part of their people's self-identity. But nothing hurts as much as hearing someone else has done the same thing except better than you. When you hear that, you're not unique anymore- you're suddenly back to being among the masses. By annihilating their identity and pride, multipolarity will render meaningless their religions, their cultures and their histories.

It will be a painful and possibly fatal lesson to an immature civilization. Perhaps they will be able to make sense of their new place in the world after a century or two.
This comment is so wrong.

White supremacism is NOT common in Europe. Racism in Europe is not defined around color anymore and it is much milder on average compared to the USA. The problem Europe has is Western dominance is not Western dominance. It is US dominance. The US influence spread unchecked in Europe after WW2 and it is currently so entrenched that countries in the continent don't have a movement space. Multiple generations of bureaucrats were raised in the current environment where Europe acts as an offshoot of pax Americana. Even on a cultural level neoliberal narrative around human rights and democracy is so common that you can't even oppose American narratives in most cases as a politician.

Most people here are aware that Europe isn't the center of the world anymore and are comfortable with this fact. Believe me about this. The problem most people fail to see is the excessive US influence

Racism is very much prevalent in Europe, especially against Asians. And Europe does have the white supremacy mindset with their "garden" shit. Either way, I'm glad that their economies are tanking and they're losing influence, their gardener complained about the latter recently. French getting booted out of Africa is just the start.
