They're technically correct about the "emigrated from China" part though, since taiwan is part of China. Here is another problem with their “China is indirectly responsible for the shooting”:
In this , they noted that “Chou had also lived in Taiwan in his youth as was ‘not well received,’ which may have fueled his hatred of” Taiwan. Yet they claim that he “emigrated from China many years ago and lived in numerous cities around the country”.
Here is the catch though. Since he is 68 years old, assuming he is from mainland China, he wouldn’t be able to live in Taiwan in his youth since:
1. China kept their doors locked until 1979 ( he would have been 25 if he were lucky enough to immigrate out of China to the US).
2. The mainland and Taiwan didn’t allow people to travel between those two lands until 1987 (he would have been 34 by that time).
3. The age range for the youth is officially 15-24, but “youth” is commonly applied to teenagers and kids.
One can say that he may have been one of the Chinese who illegally ran to Hong Kong in the 60’s, but those people most likely (like 99.99%) would support Taiwan. Plus, Hong Kong was part of the UK as a colony. So, officially, he wouldn’t have “emigrated” from China to the US.
The only way to resolve this issue is that he moved from Taiwan to the mainland and then to the US, but that doesn’t suit their agenda.
I dont known whats funnier the article's headline and caption, or the picture of that dude
Yep. They are twisting the story to suit their anti-China agenda. It’s also a sign that even your average American citizen is getting increasingly insane and delusional since these are cops who are saying this crap. They can’t just fathom the fact that China is rising while the US is falling. They're technically correct about the "emigrated from China" part though, since taiwan is part of China.
I heard that when companies offer unlimited vacation days, it's usually very hard to get a vacation request approved. Though this is for senior staff so maybe it'll be different.Goldman Sachs Offers Unlimited Vacation for Senior Staff

Goldman Sachs Group Inc.’s latest effort to retain talent in a heated job market is offering an unlimited number of vacation days for partners and managing directors. Tom Metcalf has the details on Bloomberg Television. (Source: Bloomberg)

Sweet! Who said US economy was in trouble? They can get 7 figures on unlimited vacations. Is this capitalism or socialism? I am confused.
I think I am getting bipolar on word "unlimited". First was China/Russia unlimited relationship. Now Government Sachs offers unlimited vacation. Does the English word "unlimited" now actually mean "very limited" or "somewhat limited" or "spend more time with family"?

For vacation, unlimited actually means extremely limited.I think I am getting bipolar on word "unlimited". First was China/Russia unlimited relationship. Oh, they just want to give you the illusion of "it" being unlimited. I much prefer brutal honesty over this rat like behavior.I think I am getting bipolar on word "unlimited".
