AUSKUS subs are not even complete on the drawing board. These exercises are aimed squarely at Japan. Stay out of any Taiwan conflict or else the Chinese and Russians will take the fight to your home after the Americans cut and run as they always do.

We know the script. At the COP26, they will be talking about "China not doing enough, biggest emitter of carbon dioxide. We urge/demand China to move their 2060 goal to 2050"

And then on the sidelines, "Xi my man, why you have energy crisis thus increasing inflation for us? Quickly burn more coal to reduce electricity prices so that our people can buy from you,ok? Thx."

That’s why I suspected it was a ploy to get Xi out of China and in a place where the anglos could either try to get someone who was covid infectious in his presence or to get another photo op like this one
