I am willing to bet if the Japanese slavish government puts out obstacles towards selling to China for some products. Those said companies will find a way to sell to their Chinese buyers. They will find a loophole or middlemen to sell to China. Japanese companies will implode without the Chinese market. Unless Uncle Sam starts making up for lose revenue. They will sell.

Vietnamese literally died for white Anglo supremacy; they thought themselves too good for Chinese vaccines and ended up dying.
Vietnamese would be this passive aggressive neighbor even without the West egging them on.
Although I did read somewhere that the hyper anti China sentiment that we see in Vietnam was mainly proped up by the French. It did exist before the French but the French really hyped it up for their own ends with a Sinophobic education.

Things in Vietnam have change quite a lot now. Many Vietnamese are rushing to take Chinese vaccines instead of running away. Why??? There are 2 main reasons for this:
_ The Vietnam government have implemented a new policy that allow citizens who have taken 2 jabs to freely go under the street without being lockdown at home.
_ Other vaccines like AstraZeneca and Pfizer are only used for elderly or citizens who are in severely infected areas.

Xi not attending the G20 will probably cause other leaders not to attend. It will be like the 737 Max 8. Usually it's the FAA that has to announce any grounding of any aircraft due to flaws before the world follows. This time for the first time China grounded the 737 Max 8 first and then the world followed. I'll tell you a lot people behind the scenes were furious that it happened like that. The notorious suspects want Xi to go to the G20 so they show a fake front of unity where they want to get that Trump-like photo of Xi with his arms crossed sitting in a chair while all them are berating surrounding him. Biden is into theatrics so I wouldn't be surprised if that was a goal. Frankly I hope Xi doesn't meet with Biden all his term in office if he's playing these games because it means Biden doesn't take it seriously and this is all for domestic politics. So why bother? It doesn't help China. Waiting until the G20 is a cover so this doesn't look like a meeting Biden wanted that he had to beg to China to meet. Biden wanted to show the world that Xi would be the "last" leader he'd meet with to convey to everyone that China wasn't important to the world. He thought Xi would be begging for a meeting with him by now because Kurt Campbell is telling him China is the one that would be doing that right now and so far any attempts to setup a meeting by the US has been received cold. You'd figure why does Campbell have a job when he's been so wrong in two Presidential administrations now? It's because like I've said, if you want to predict what path the US takes, it will always be the one that perpetuates white supremacists beliefs. They want to still believe in it even after it fails. That's job security.
The media would attempt a PR spin the G20. But I think any PR spin will be lacking because of the fallout from Afghanistan has messed up Biden's image as a so called great statesmen. Any PR victory would fail to reach most of its effectiveness. Maybe a 1 year or two would work but it is too soon now.
