1. China was making strategic "mistakes."
2. Decoupling of industrial processes and manufacturing supply chains probably here if we only look at America and China. The guy who wrote the article seemed oblivious to that.
3. Promotes their own power via their right to choose, when in reality they had none. That's the deal, take it or leave it. That is more like it.
When you consider that all of these countries combined represent about a fraction of China’s population and economic and military power, the effect is like that of bunch of middle schoolers trying to intimidate a billionaire with his own band of assassins

China literally has a history of executing drug traffickers. The Brits petitioned to halt the execution of a British nationals back in the early 2010s, when relations were good, to no avail. He should’ve just waited it out.
From The Duran, Turkey is next in line for a regime change and I find it troubling, being a friend of the US doesn't buy you security instead your liable to their whims.
