Yet they whine about how China steals everything from the US through the internet and their superior cyberwarriors cannot apparently stop it.
Well that settles that issue. At least the Americans and the rest of the 5 eyes alliance wouldn't have to blame China whenever there's a cybersecurity threat or attack happens in their countries. And just as Yang Jeichi said, when it comes to cyber hacking, U.S. is King.

Lines are drawn in cold war 2.0, and it looks like russia is firmly on China side
It even has asked india, which side are you belong? (Not that it matters anyway)

Meaningless. It’s just some Russians speaking for China. Unless and until China actually speaks on the issue, I would consider it all hot air bluster and/or Russian desires.

China might entertain the idea of such an alliance as a shot across the bow of the EU to stay in their own lane and not get involved in the US-China disputes, but unless the EU seriously
and irrevocably commits on America’s side, I just cannot see China making such a move as it would in effect force the EU into America’s corner, so it is not a move to be taken lightly.

Finally the US admits it. Yang Jeichi himself said it publically that the US is number 1 on the cuberspace.

Its really shameless of them to still talk about how big scary China is coming to innocent and unprotected US lol

I've been very busy these days but I was observing something about Chinese people. Lee Kuan Yew and Xi Jinping believed that (at least for now) Chinese people needed strict laws to monitor them.

That's because too often, in the process of 争权夺利, which Chinese people love doing too often, they often fall victim to petty, small-minded 狡猾ness. They don't see the big picture and try shady ways to become rich or powerful. 狡猾 can be used to describe the behavior of a lot of these people, and they don't realize in the game of game theory, what they're doing is 以偏概全的世界观点。

It's natural for humans to seek power, but sometimes the way Chinese people do it can be quite comical and I think they're definitely self-aware of it and you see it in Chinese style comedy or parody, but the problem is still pretty endemic in Chinese psyche.

But one thing I noticed is that Chinese people who have been to the United States shed this provinciality really quickly and become very good at seeing the big picture.

After you see the shitshow that is USA, you realize that Chinese people love complaining too much about their own country or city or village, but such complaints are actually extreme and not deserved. 外面的月亮更加圆 style thinking.

I would say this is endemic to Chinese because you don't see Koreans or Japanese grovelling or complaining about their own country in the same, disatisfied and bemused way. I mean that Koreans and Japanese simply resign themselves to their fate (which might not be a good thing) but Chinese love despairing about how badly things are going. Even rich, successful Chinese people I observe also has this existential despair which is really interesting. Lol.

If you interact with Koreans and Japanese regularly you would realize they do not bother leaving room for existential despair in their brains.

Nothing bad with complaining about your country all the time.

Because if you have a lot of people who complain about something, it most likely is true problem and the country needs to address (does not necessarily mean to correct though..) it.

You give the Japan example. So what happened is that all the old fogeys are in power, stuck in the past, and the young Japanese are working like ants without complaining and demanding big changes to reform their system. So little by little, Japan decays and the result is what you see now.

And what about the US. They drank so much of their own "Number 1" kool-aid that they believe that they are the best of the world and they cant admit that they have problems. So year by year, small problems become big problems, then huge problems because the American people and Elite cant admit that they have problems. The result is what we have right now..

Thus while Chinese may complain too much, this is not a bad thing. In fact as long as they complain it means that the people are still vigilant and long for a better life and country. Ironically enough, i would say that the moment the Chinese have completely stopped complaining is the moment when you would know that China is in decay and declining.

Okay the moon is rounder outside is a good phrase, I like it.

That sounds like my parents but they never reached the point of realizing how little America offers them. Constantly complaining about everything affecting them.
