I remeber watched Yes Minister clip "Why the UK is in the EU" when Humphrey explain why! Well i hope UK will keep doing it for CPTPP and maybe 5-10 years from now on someone like Nigel Farage with BREXIT 2.0 will delight us.

I think this is what you're referring to.

Guys, I'm humbled that you sought my opinon. But I think @Mt1701d got all that covered.

Except maybe:

Warm beer.
Jelly eel.
Haggis
Chips and curry sauce.
Morris dancers
Essex girls and reality TV
Racist black-cab drivers

If I think of any more I'll post here. Right now, I've got to finish my clients' accounts off. Last day dead line.

Do love me a wee Tikka Masala on curry nights... that's until it gives be Bombay Belly
I enjoy the curry nights too but I am more of a kebab guy myself, Kofte Doner mix, full salad with burger, mint and hot sauce

@ansy1968 @Gatekeeper

Just got a few more

Bad music - Eurovision Song Contest entries
unintelligible location names - mainly in Wales
crisps sandwiches
Bad instant noodles - search pot noodles
Poor trains schedules - it’s anecdotal but there was one time I saw a display saying a train was delayed by 12 hours, well 11 and a half but close enough

Yup this time I am really out

Since when was the UK part of the Pacific. On another note if the uk and usa join. it will become the biggest trade bloc.
Somehow I'm skeptical the US jump back on the TPP ship... Not when Biden has openly declared "Buy American". With all the bridges Trump has burned on behalf of the US, Biden would also have to expend precious political capital and concessions on trade negotiations early on in his presidency... And I'm just not sure how that'd sit with his base (particularly the Rust Belt Swing State voters), the opposition would swallow him alive. In any case the world has moved on anyway, especially with the signing of RCEP.

It took Obama two terms to negotiate TPP, at this point I'm not even sure Biden completes a single term... And well Kamala is no Obama.

The TTP being brought up nowadays by the media as something realistic, omits the truth.

The US Democratic Party was against it when Obama was president. Hillary Clinton was against it. Donald Trump who won the election over Hillary, tore up the TTP.

The TTP is not really an issue anymore in American politics, there is no support, other than a suggestion now and then.

Your opinion is needed, A bargain tool? what contribution will UK bring to the table?
Let me have a crack at this one.

1, Scotch
2, Fish and chips, specifically cod from England and potatoes from Northern Ireland
3, black pudding
4, horse meat ‘beef’ lasagnas
5, deep fried mars bars, for those who don’t know, yes it was and is a thing
6, Slimy financial managers
7, overpriced mediocre chocolate
8, builders crack - google it, Baidu might not return the intended result
9, importation of plumbers, doctors and dentists
10, the largest overseas Indian population, think of it what you will... but we are talking about at least 2 quad countries so might help
11, related to 10, authentic Indian cuisine without including India, that must count as some form of plus

That’s all I got for now

Ps - not a serious answer, apart from maybe item 1, for that you might have to wait for @Gatekeeper

I think you guys missed this one.

The British wants to bring the British rule of law in the name of the Queen of England. That's what they are most famous for anyway.
