Media trying PR war to scare the Chinese. Trump is NOT going to tear up the trade deal. He’s trying to scare the Chinese.
He's doing a GREAT job then. I'm already shaking in my boots. Honestly though, the only thing this will do is piss off the Chinese rather than scare them. This may work against smaller and weaker countries but against someone as big as China, the opposite may happen.
I wonder how things will go once the China - Iran deal is signed.
It smells as non-authentic story for me.
The whole Zeolite story, and to capture a ship this close to the Chinese shores.
There is no secondary sources , and the ones that I found have the ZH as source.
I am not an expert, but the Zeolite has little use in respirators/ medical air filters.
This is why China needed the SCS to defend and protect its trade/seas in the first place... The current and escalating American actions have just proven China more and more correct..
In retrospect the CCP decision to ban Google turned out to be a master genius move... imagine the havoc US can wreck on China if everyone in China was using Google Play right now...
This is as they say in Weiqi a probing move... its not about the supplies, its about testing if China is really willing to defend its waters and also defend the Iran deal etc and if China backs down now it sets bad precedent to the rest of the world that China cannot protect their alliances and won't come to the rescue of its partners or even defend its own shipping lanes etc..
America seems intent on provoking and forcing a confrontation in the SCS/regions and possibly escalate to nuclear from there. (look at what happpened to Beirut yesterday, it effectively got nuked, Trump hinted it was a weapon)
Are they paying in rmb?
I think he was joking about the gold part, but gold should be priced in ounces or kilograms, not dollars lol
