The administration plans to launch the coalition of partners with the signing Friday of the Pax Silica Declaration, uniting Singapore, Australia, Japan, South Korea and Israel in a collaboration intended to address deficits in critical mineral access edging out China’s massive investment in its critical minerals and tech sector. The administration is actively looking to enlist other countries to join the group.

"US enlists 5 countries for an initiative in which the US will DEFINITELY screw them over at some point in the future." (except maybe Israel)

They just just make all the leaders of US "allies" permanently wear dunce caps that say "fell for it again".

Really... what's the point? Another way for the US to dictate to everyone else what to do? Another way for the US to tell everyone else how their foreign policy with other countries should be with Israel pulling the strings behind the scenes? Europe will be upset at being sidelined. I see Europe along with other US allies attempting going their own way before they surrender and know their place.

There's the talk of how China won't buy anything from the West now. Well in debating this on the internet, Westerners basically ignore this is their fault. What's left to sell when they banned any advanced tech sales to China that it can't make itself? Stuff China can get anywhere else. Then you have those high ticket items can't be bought by most countries. This is where the West admits that everyone else to them are just here to give them their money. Business is just laundering their imperialism for the West. Like I've been saying... they're always looking for an angle to have slaves again. They lie about believing in capitalism because they have nothing that isn't banned to sell that is in demand in China to sell but they expect China to buy it anyway. They think it's up to China how to figure out the problem they created. No, that's their job to convince the customer what they want to buy.

Maybe Europe should try to sell what they won't sell to China. I doubt they have anything really that China can't do cheaper now but then all Europe only has left to show China is good faith to open the doors again on products that are all about their name only. If they won't show that, then Europe is worthless for China and let them wither away and die living with their overpriced uncompetitive overcapacity they want to sell.

This is just tacit admission that multipolarity is proceeding at pace.

Which is fine but it sounds like Trump wants an Lite version of the United Nations Security Council. And there is absolutely no reason why Japan should be a core member when they are actively trying to rewrite the history of world war 2 and their attempted genocide in Asia.

“Nothing around a C5 or C7 was discussed, but there were certainly conversations that the existing bodies like the G-structures or the U.N. Security Council weren’t fit for purpose given today’s new players,” the person said.
First on the C5’s proposed agenda: Middle East security—specifically, normalizing relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia.
