Which is ironic considering that the Israelis want to inflict the horrors of the holocaust on Gaza.

Even though they spread the message of never again yet they gas light us.They learned a lot from history. Better to be the ones in a position to inflict it to others than to be the ones it is inflicted upon.

Yeah it’s embarrassing. Most of the country was ruined. Plus all these hanjians forget that the cities that are rich aka the concessions were crime ridden corrupt hellholes. Don’t forget that they were literal apartheid states but this narrative influences the local governments for some reason. At Shanghai, the Shanghai history museum convientally omits the fact that Shanghai was port city since the song dynasty but who cares. Tianjin does the same thing where they give the westerners credit for the cities development when in reality all they did was turn these cities into corrupt, crime ridden, apartheid states.View attachment 164944
I think we should just use this every time some westoid or hanjian spouts some bs about how China was somehow paradise (esp in 1900s to 1940s) before the CCP came along. We do live in the meme generation so this is the only way to get it into their heads.
