It reminds me of what the British were doing in Hong Kong. British expats started businesses in Hong Kong that literally discriminated against anyone who wasn't Western and white. Locals were not allowed in these establishments... in their own lands. They do that. Remember Bruce Lee's Fist of Fury? There was that scene where there was conflict over the sign in a park in China that said "No Chinese or dogs allowed" posted up by the Japanese. The irony is it wasn't the Japanese that did that? It was the British and the reason why they didn't accurately depict who was responsible was because the British were in control of Hong Kong. The filmmakers thought the British were going to punish them if they accurately depicted it. That's why when the British dares to talk about freedom and human rights, it's joke. It's like Jane Goodall upset to see anyone Chinese in Africa. No problem in seeing whites in Africa... but Chinese? They think of themselves as the oasis in a desert. They think they're the only sign of hope. That's why they think it's okay.

They have already inserted so-called “poison pill” provisions into the North American trade framework (USMCA) in 2020 with Mexico and Canada, targeting the PRC. Just a week ago, similar clauses were added to trade agreements with Malaysia and Cambodia. This will not end here, and the PRC should think (and act) about how to respond to these increasingly aggressive moves by the United States to constrain its foreign trade space and infringe upon the trade sovereignty of nations around the world for its malicious hegemonic intents.

China should also add these same provisions to any trade deals signed with China. In fact, China should add these provisions to any deals with the US.

is a story that's taught in Chinese elementary schools.
When Canada kidnapped Meng, they made an existential mistake.
Tbh the Western elites don’t really believe in forgiveness either, they promote slave morality to better control their own people and in the meanwhile will backstab counter parties for their own gain eg Gaddafi and Native American treaties being broken and promising Gorbachev no more nato expansion Eastwards.
