Yeah duh. These athletes are trained in top facilities and athletes typically have poor immune systems because their bodies constantly expend everything on performance. You put them in a garbage dump, they won't be able to perform well.

I don't think they were trying to pull anything. This is literally India's best. Dirty water and malfunctioning equipment is what India's about.

Yes,also stray animals like dogs were urinating/defecating in the athletes' village inside the dormitories-on second thought maybe it wasn't dogs? o_O The level of filth/mismanagement/very poor conditions was epic-Olympic games?? -are they so self-unaware /full of hubris-that they're actually crazy-"China can do it-so can india...even better!!"Unbelievable

Taiwan's recall election has backfired

DPP failed to remove pretty much any KMT lawmakers.

What a huge slap in the face for DPP. Despite their control of the media, online bots and massive help from America they failed to recall even a single one out of 24

I wonder how Western media is going to report this, if at all.
Probably going to claim there was interference by China, rather than call out what it is, a huge rejection of the DPP's dirty tactics and terrible handling of the economy

2) Claim that the big bad See See Pee had something to do with it.

Next attempt is in less than a month.

The scale of the recall elections is unprecedented, with another seven KMT lawmakers facing a similar vote on Aug. 23.

The KMT currently holds 52 seats, while the ruling DPP holds 51 seats. For the DPP to secure a legislative majority, at least six KMT lawmakers would need to be ousted
