Japan's panda town was booming. Now China wants its pandas back

CNN is making it sounds and like it's China's fault. The panda loans had expired, that's all. Whether a new bunch of pandas will be loaned from China again is up for negotiations.

Dunno why CNN tried to slip in their Taiwan separatists political messaging. As if those separatist could somehow help the zoo. But no details. This is idiotic reporting.

Actually, I am convinced that China is taking their pandas away (that town in Japan fully believed it was their pandas because they liked them so much), because they elected a pro-Taiwan mayor.

Enough! That is enough!

However, got to say that this time, the Chinese really did hurt the feelings of the Japanese people.

Okay, that part I did not anticipate. Not really liking it either.

LOL.

:oops::p:confused:

In Italy, a Chinese semiconductor engineer was also arrested for similar reasons.
It can be seen that this is related. Now I have no doubt that the US dare to instruct its servants to arrest Putin.

This is a bitter fact: the United States can order others to enforce its laws in most of the world, and we can only be alarmed to be wary of being watched by Americans.

Got to admit, when I see a picture like this, one impulse is to start swearing.

This is animal, they not human, who do they think they are?

But, in today's world, I would appear abusive, and a bad person.

I would like to object, but do not want to get into more trouble.

It is a nice picture. Like, the animal just a had beer, now they are chilling. At this point, I start swearing, lol.

:p

So many replies and none of them understand basics. Its from Ural chamber of commerce which represent Yekaterinburg region. where else he getting this idea except for the largest arrival of Arabs in his city for a week long Innoprom 2025 Industrial exhibition. when Royals arrives Indians are not that far behind. Russia has plans to shift population to East. Back in 1970s Soviets had project of Siberian city called Elektrograd. If that project had been successful it would be counterpart to Japan rise in electrics.
Royals as i always mentioned exhibit Soft Power that only few can take advantage of it and that culture Russia want to emulate thats why so much interaction with Gulf Royals. This Yekaterinburg event is not finish yet that next one they want to conduct in Saudi and it is not just this exhibition but Moscow and Saint Petersburg events Gulf Royals were the guests last month. when they are guests than conduct is different.

It sounds like an excuse, they can do so without India. It doesn't have to be under the BRICS banner.
It is not an excuse. It's a structural flaw of BRICS. Some members are already doing bilateral trades without USD. They just cannot come around to do it collectively as BRICS. Because it apparently requires unanimous support from at least the founding members.

Without a BRICS basket of currencies, smaller economies who lack foreign reserves cannot wean themselves off the USD. Like it or not, the USD is still the most easily convertible currency today. Long story short, without an easily convertible basket of non-USD currencies, there are no true alternative currencies for international trade.

Trade can still happen without the USD, but it'll take some time for smaller economies to build appreciable reserves of the major non-USD currencies like the Yuan or Ruble. It's not an easy decision to make as you can't easily buy Russian oil with Yuan, or easily buy Chinese goods with Ruble. That was why BRICS could have cleared up this mess by creating the basket of currencies. Now the major economies of BRICS have to find a workaround for this.

BRICS doesn't appear to have an expulsion mechanism. So the "I" in BRICS can continue to spoil it forever. It had been a great blunder to conclude that nation into BRICS. But when BRICS was founded in 2009, many of the founding members had underestimated that nation's potential for duplicity and treachery.
