They should have just titled the article, "US reduces dependence on China... but at what cost?"It took the US this long to figure this out? Shouldn't they have done this homework before starting the all-out trade war with China?
Those advisors to the two POTUS are not worth their salaries.
I go to an Ivy League school. Liberal arts degrees from Ivy League schools are worth less than toilet paper. Most of the liberal arts students here and at other Ivy League schools are pampered, conceited imbeciles. A former friend of mine from high school who graduated from Harvard currently works for a prominent conservative think tank in Washington D.C. and his opinions on US-China relations are deplorable. He's Chinese but he genuinely believes that the United States has been a champion of human rights in the Middle East, among other things.I’ve been saying for a while. I don’t have an Ivy League degree like many of those advisors, but it wasn’t a secret that the Chinese companies were just moving their assembly plants in to Vietnam (and SEA) and Mexico.
So all of this I knew over the years as just a relative neophyte following business news. No PhD, MBA, whatever. I don’t believe that those White House people were not aware. It was always political theatre that Americans are literally paying for.
Holy shit People's Republic of Amazon (SAR of China) moment? Some of these NGOs people are really losing their marbles over their failure in Ukraine and the expansion of BRICS lol.
Moving production to Mexico and other countries also creates jobs and skills there that can be utilized by other firms. once skills and infrastructure developed than its free market of labor.I’ve been saying for a while. I don’t have an Ivy League degree like many of those advisors, but it wasn’t a secret that the Chinese companies were just moving their assembly plants in to Vietnam (and SEA) and Mexico.

and blame it on them when things go wrong.Homework is for looser nerds! Chad winners just need to act and the next person in office can find out!
People will continue to make deals with Putin in the future because they have no choice, Putin has the monopoly on power in Russia. This isn't a car dealership where you go to a different brand if you don't like what's on offer.
