And TRUMP is now back on X formerly known as Twitter with his mugshot proudly displayed portraying himself as the victim and the avenger.

2024 American presidential nomination and election is going to be a circus of epic proportion.

I find it amusing how this makes the general media publish a photo of him that looks quite good.
Can't pick a terrible one when there's only one!

Russia is looking to build a faster HSR line between Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Construction of the 650km line received President Vladimir Putin’s approval last week. Russian banks VEB.RF and Gazprombank have already announced their readiness to take part in the financing and construction of the project, which is estimated at 1.7 trillion rubles ($18 billion).
He noted that the new route will cut the travel time between the two cities to 2 hours and 15 minutes. The trip currently takes about four hours using the Sapsan high-speed train. By 2030, the average annual passenger traffic [on the route] is estimated to be around 22.6 million people, Popov indicated.
High-speed railways allow trains to run significantly faster than traditional alternatives, at speeds of around 200-400kph. The Sapsan service currently operated by Russian Railways between Moscow and St. Petersburg has a top speed of 250kph.
The Sapsan HSR trains were supplied by Siemens. Its No longer supported by Siemens today, for obvious reasons.

Considering Russia's current geopolitical situation. There is perhaps only one obvious candidate to partner with for that new HSR project:

There are also plans for a new high-speed railway between Moscow and Kazan, Russia’s fifth-largest city and the capital of Tatarstan. The 770km journey could be significantly reduced from the current 12 hours to just three and a half.

China has expressed an interest in funding the project, as it considers the Moscow-Kazan route as a way to boost ties and trade between the two countries, as well as an investment.

Siemens had very long experience in Russian market. it cannot happen with in this time line if the two firms not have history of working together on complex engineering projects. They have invested alot in making sure they can maintain Siemens trains without Siemens. I dont think they are going to repeat it. It is not Toyota vehicle that parts can easily imported from Mideast.

“Thanks to the support of Russian Railways and on the initiative of Russian Railways, an innovative engineering center was created in Skolkovo. There, at the moment, engineers and designers are designing this train, in 2027 the first prototype of an electric train will be created, in 2028 it will be certified, ”commented Zubikhin.
The high-speed electric train will run along the Moscow-St. Petersburg High-Speed Line. The complex project involves not only the construction of electric trains, but also the creation of an appropriate infrastructure. In particular, new trains will require ballastless tracks, as well as contact wires of a completely different quality

“We plan to work together to achieve technological sovereignty in the field of railway engineering and to acquire new competencies, including in the field of high-speed technologies, to strengthen the position of private labels in the market,” commented Kirill Kuklinsky.

Even in the slower 160km/hr trains they went with 100% domestic.

Electrical engineering is completely domestic production. Lastochka also has Russian software, - Anton Zubikhin, First Deputy General Director of the Sinara - Transport Machines holding, explained to reporters.
The first "Swallows" at the Ural enterprise began to be created more than ten years ago. Then it was a joint Russian-German project, and a number of key components were supplied from abroad. Until recently, the depth of Russian localization was at most 86 percent, now it is almost 100.

Sorry, I don't quite get your post, are you doubting that China will or not be partnered to build the HSR?
