Yes, the fate of Taiwan is intricately linked to the Korean question and broader question of US presence in East Asia in general, including Korean peninsula, Yokohama and Okinawa. It's really inseparable. If it was up to me, I would bypass Taiwan island entirely and focus on evicting US presence in Korea and Japan first, and then Taiwan will naturally follow in process.
Get them off of the continent, first, then the Ryukus; Japanese mainland doesn’t matter!

Does the response or answer made by the now former head of Maui Emergency Response credible? He stands by the decision not to turn ON THE ALARM SYSTEM because the system was designed only to warn against Tsunamis? Despite the fact that from their own website it clearly lists all the possible uses for the Alarm system that includes WILDFIRES.

Are you suggesting that lawyers and poli sci graduates are not the best candidates for emergency management (or science policy, economic policy, infrastructure planning and development, education policy, etc. etc.)?

Possibly the most revolutionary idea in western governance theory since Kings are not decided by God…

It’s shitty, it’s not pretty and it smells,” said Mathilde Boyer, 23, who lives in the southern 15th district.

Guillaume Meigniez, 28, said he’s not particularly worried about the rats, because they’re already “quite numerous” in normal times ” and “they’re not going to start ganging up and attacking people.”

Soon all of the garden will be in a similar state.

Baiting US into firing the first shot by moving on Taiwan would be a very strong start both militarily and politically for China though.

The historical truth of Asia is that the whole region can only have security, lasting prosperity and development with China at it's helm. That is how countries like Korea and Japan became civilized to begin with, only for them to later turn on the mainland, as they became colonized by hostile foreign powers.

Expulsion of America, which is a state founded on unpunished and unrepentant genocide, is a necessity to end the continuous disgrace inflicted on the non-Chinese peoples of Asia.

But most Chinese people would not want to go on expansion, and in fact a lot have been tricked to believe that these countries are co-equals who need to be appeased, rather than soulless, arrested development colonies of a hostile genocidal power.

So the best outcome for Asia, to activate the public's willpower to fight, would be to provoke an America-Korea-Japan invasion of China itself. Then, China can realize decolonization and denazification of Asia under the pretext of self defense.

To achieve this, China should seek involving US into the Taiwan question as much as possible, and the easiest way is to appeal to American nationalism. American leaders will not be able to back down if it makes them look weak. Whether on purpose or not, I think China has been doing well on this front.
