India really is the only useless member of BRICS it looks like.

Don’t forget they are also incompetent nationalists. Then they wonder no one takes them seriously on the internet when they throw jin hind tantrums.

The outlet claimed that New Delhi is insisting that strict rules must be in place on how and when potential members can join. India has proposed that the BRICS nations should seek to invite emerging economies and countries with democratic aspirations such as Argentina and Nigeria, rather than Saudi Arabia, the report said, citing an official.

Of course Vietnamese leaders want so. Their media is picturing China as collapsing any minute now. They even believe it despite knowing that's propaganda. Their urge to become US dog is simply too great.
do they not realize that all of Vietnam's problems now that they cannot solve, have already been solved by China decades ago? like how PAVN is involved in business since doi moi started, yet while China was able to get PLA out of business, PAVN is still in business today?

In Vietnam the military is king. No one can touch them as Vietnam Communist Party only relies on their history of fighting imperial power for legitimacy. Majority of Vietnamese don't trust the party as the corruption is record high and Vietnam certainly could not get out of the middle income trap. They are running an extreme nationalist propaganda policy and the military is glorified so the Vietnamese will always find their hope and pride in their bloody past.

North Korea’s Kim Jong Un vows to develop cooperation with China to ‘new high’

SEOUL – North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met the Chinese delegation which visited Pyongyang to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Korean War truce and vowed to develop the two countries’ relations to a “new high”, the North’s state media said on Saturday.

Mr Kim hosted a reception for the Chinese officials led by Communist Party Politburo member Li Hongzhong on Friday. The Chinese delegation was the first to visit North Korea since the Covid-19 pandemic.

Like a pot calling another pot black. While Saudi Arabia does have an inconvenient human rights record, so does India. India have already become a theocratic state, just like Saudi Arabia, only with a different religion. Both countries pushed forward policies that favour their their preferred religion. Both countries are not too fond of their religious minorities.

Problem for India is, the other BRICS member want Saudi Arabia onboard. Not because they adore Saudi Arabia. But because pulling SA over would be a big win in the great game against the West. India have been stonewalling the BRICS for awhile, but somehow also expects to have a big say in things. This is the Indian mindset. They don't have the concept of earning their power and influence. They just feel that they are entitled to push people around.

There is a view going around that India would one day quit the BRICS and SCO due to irreconcilable differences with it's other members. But my understanding of the Indian mindset is that India will never quit. Instead, India actually wants to hijack both organisations to its own benefit. India's ultimate goal is to become the leader of both the BRICS and SCO, to kick China and Pakistan out, and to invite more of its own minions in. So India will not quit on its own volition. It needs to be forcefully ejected. This is a very uncomfortable thing for BRICS and SCO to do, because both wanted to present themselves as open-door, and inviting organisations. Both organisations are also in recruitment mode, so they don't want to create a negative image by kicking out a major member. Also Russia, being very fond of India, might still want to very much keep India in SCO and BRICS. Nevertheless, India is still a cancer in both organisations. The longer it stays, the stronger it's influence grows, the more 'sick' both organisations become.

So, I think the most realistic way forward for SCO and BRICS is a managed isolation of India. India could be given lip-service, but at the same time, given the cold shoulder on important matters. Either India eventually throws tantrums and quit, or just stays comfortable in cold storage. Still, I predict that the biggest challenge to carrying this out is getting Russia onboard. Russia will have to man up and make that difficult decision. Russia either has to choose to pursue its own proclaimed destiny of being a pole in the new multipolar world, or being held back by a self-interested India.

Unless BRICS was stupid enough to give one country veto power, just ignore India. It's three to two. India thinks it's the leader of "the Global South" when they want in on BRICS...? How's that going to help India? The yuan is going to be the main currency of BRICS by default not the stinkin' rupee that nobody wants. India is just making it worse for itself when that happens.

Does anyone know if one country has veto power in BRICS? Cuz China should've learned regarding the EU when the bigger economies of EU wanted to expand advance technology trade with China and all the US had to do was to get one smaller European country to veto it.

The most realistic way is a balkanization of India. India is a concept created by the British, not an actual country. Doing so will help not only China tremendously but also for the Indian themselve who suffer so much from the poor governance.

Sir for China BRICS is for show, the main agenda is BRI cooperation with Russia the Central Asian state, Iran and Saudi Arabia. Unless India do the walk instead of talk, they're irrelevant and this will vex the Indian even more...lol
