The commission had warned of a "high risk" to security of networks involving 5G technology "from suppliers or providers that are headquartered in a country where the government exercises control, interference or pressure on its activities in third countries".

So they're banning companies headquartered in the five eyes countries?

US government let a known Chinese scammer into the country in the hope of using him as a leverage against the Chinese government, but they conveniently forgot that the scammer would be scamming people in the US

Kim Jong Un shows off new drones, gives Russian defense chief tour of nukes

North Korean leader hosts defense minister Sergei Shoigu at weapons expo in Pyongyang
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un hosted Russia’s visiting defense chief Sergei Shoigu at a weapons exhibition in Pyongyang on Wednesday, according to state media, where the DPRK military also showed off new unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and its largest nuclear missiles.
The expo appeared to feature at least two new drone designs, with similar features as two that NK Pro reported were being flight-tested at North Korea’s Pangyhon Airbase last month.

One appears to be a combat UAV similar to a U.S. Reaper drone, and satellite images of what may be the same drone showed it had a wingspan of 65 feet (20 meters)

. The other appears similar to U.S. Global Hawk reconnaissance drones and had a longer wingspan of around 115 feet (35 meters)

.
The “Weapons and Equipment Exhibition 2023” also featured North Korea’s largest nuclear missiles like the Hwasong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile (ICMB) in a camouflage color scheme for the first time, as well as the Hwasong-18 solid-fuel ICBM tested in April and July this year.
The North Korean leader met Li Hongzhong, a Chinese politburo member and head of a political delegation visiting Pyongyang on Wednesday as well and watched a concert together with Li and Shoigu, the paper added. It did not report on a one-on-one meeting between Kim and Li.

Thursday’s edition of the Rodong Sinmun also did not feature any reports on a military parade that Pyongyang has been preparing for months, suggesting it may still occur later in the day.
The delegations, weapons expo and parade are part of North Korea’s July 27 “Victory Day” celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of the Korean War armistice agreement signed by North Korea, China and the U.S.-led United Nations Command.

Looks like the possibilities I raised in a previous post:
might come to fruition?

Yeah, I wonder brought on the name change?

China's Xi ‘looking forward’ to Netanyahu visit

Netanyahu immediately updated Washington about the invitation, emphasizing that it is not a message to Biden.

Netanyahu: Those Jews (e.g., Blinken, Yellen, Kissinger) all went to China recently, why can't I?

Chinese ambassador probably passed Xi's message something along the lines of: I see the west is giving you troubles, perhaps we can make a deal.

Yup, Netanyahu is definitely not sending a message to Biden.
China really needs to kick Israel to the curb. This rogue nation has nothing to offer to China. Israel’s whole function is to maintain and further the imperialist imperatives of the Anglo Empire!
Better to increase technological, diplomatic, and economic interactions with Iran. A nation of 60 million, with an anti-colonial/ anti-imperial orientation, has so much more to offer!

"Nothing to offer"?
Check out the seething westerners replying and quoting these posts

The Chinese understand Israel's special relationship with the US, which is exploitable and can actually offer many things. We'll see much more meltdowns when Bibi visits China in October (Belt and Road Forum with Putin and Macron?) and signs the China-Israel free trade agreement.

When you think you’re exploiting an “Israeli”, it’s you that are being exploited!
But, hey, go for it!
I’ve noticed an inclination toward Israel apologisms, here; I’ve got my popcorn!
