Just a curious thought exercise:

We all know Switzerland destroyed their reputation as a neutral banking destination after they sanctioned Russia

What are the consequences so far, if any?

And for a rich person in danger of being targeted by the West, what other alternatives do they have to protect their wealth?

Excellent film analysis; though it ought to be in the TV/Films thread. I would expand on your point though: the 007 franchise is an extension and expression of the British ruling class via its depiction of villains eg the Assange type Javier Bardem villain and its allies eg the homosexual weapons quartermaster 'Q' as a reflection of the LGBT ideology of the anglo american ruling class and the black female 007 of the last film. It's apparent that sometime around the 2010s, the factional elite that rose to Atlanticist power were evidently homosexual and treated their homosexuality as a core part of their identity, hence the weird fixation that the US State Department has with lgbt.
What's really ironic is that Ian Fleming, the writer of the James Bond novels was a homophobe. In his books, he likes to portray the hardcore Soviets and commies as homosexual, ugly, and degenerate people. While the West is full of handsome straight men, who are just superior in everything. This is best highlighted in the novel: "From Russia with Love". He portrayed two different types of Soviet women. The loyal Soviet woman, Rosa Klebb, is an ugly masculine b*tch who is homosexual. While the beautiful Soviet woman, Tatiana Romanova is straight, disloyal to her nation, dislikes Russian men, and can only be satisfied by a British man like Bond.

Ian Fleming is not the only homophobe of his era. Frank Herbert created House Harkonnen as his Soviet Union counterpart in his Dune universe. The leader of the Harkonnens, Baron Vladimir Harkonnen was portrayed as a homosexual, pedophile, and rapist. There is something about writers in the 1950s, linking homosexuality to depravity, and depravity to the communists. While good conservative values are still preserved in the West. Imagine if Ian Fleming and Frank Herbert were recalled from the grave to witness the West today. Oh, the irony! I just wonder what stories would they be able to write this time. Lol!

Look at the state of mind of the western elites; here they are salivating over war in east Asia, they are practically drooling at the prospect of genociding Asians again. None of them got drafted in vietnam so getting other men's children to go to war is easy for them.
Oh yes, they wet dream every night about genociding more coloured people in East Asia. They have massacred Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Vietnamese, Arabs, and South Asians over their history. Yet they still wet dream for more. That is why nukes are no longer a luxury for China anymore, but a necessity. They must be made aware that the Chinese people won't allow themselves to be genocided ever again without a reply.

How desperate must the anglo america be if they are making such demands of the europoors?
Only the sycophants and bought up politicians in Europe will comply. The tycoons, proper CEOs, and businessmen in Europe want none of that decoupling crap. They would be the first to push back against this, or failing that, find loopholes to work around government sanctions. That is why the Anglos would like to see more compliant CEOs in European companies, in particular, Indian CEOs.

China to provide ‘lethal aid’ to Russia, says UK defence secretary

UK defence secretary Grant Shapps on Wednesday accused China of providing or preparing to give Russia lethal aid for use by Moscow in its war against Ukraine.
Shapps said that new US and British intelligence “can reveal that lethal aid is now or will be flowing from China to Russia and into Ukraine”. He gave no details.
The revelation follows a visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin to China last week for two days of talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
At a defence conference in London, Shapps said that China and Russia had developed a “deeper relationship” and the flow of weapons to Russia was “new intelligence which leads me to be able to declassify and reveal this today”.
Probably your usual Western propaganda, but what if...

CNA documents Chinese migrants braving hardship, death and danger to move to the US, including one Christian family migrating because the illegal Christian school attended by their daughter is banned.
According to this documentary, most of the Chinese migrants will be applying for asylum, with one posting anti-China articles in an obscure publication to increase her chance for political asylum.
The host, Du Wei (Chinese, Chongqing, national working for CNA), appears to be biased against China from what I had observed for some time.
Parts 1 & 2.
.
.
I suspect that a large number of these Chinese migrants escaping to the US are CIA or MI6 assets themselves. Possibly recruited by CIA sponsored NGOs or Churches. These people were either troublemakers or potential troublemakers. So when their CIA-MI6 clandestine ring was busted, they either had to, or were instructed to escape to the US via CIA's human trafficking network which eventually lands them on the Southern US border.

I don't care what CNA or the Western media say about them. It's always good for China to be rid of these garbage. And, while China is at it, why not just sprinkle a some infiltrators among them to obtain another route of access into the US. It'll justify the fears of the Republicans, but f**k them. Let them close the border when the time comes.

People on this forum often wonder why China isn't more assertive and coercive in international dealing such as issues related to Taiwan, South China Sea, Western sanctions etc.

The answer is, China is ironing out the few vulnerabilities it has related to energy, food and certain technologies that require western components. Moreover, China is also waiting for the dollar's status to decrease by default without doing anything. Once these issues are sorted out. You would see an era of china starting to get very assertive. I predict that will happen in 2030.

I wouldn't call it just a "few" vulnerabilities related to energy, food and certain technologies that require western components.

There's so much interdependence because China went all in with globalisation.

Even by 2030, there will still be much of this, particularly around semiconductors, because it takes years of effort and is arguably the most difficult industry to develop.

But my guess is that by 2035, China will manage to build out an entirely separate, world-class semiconductor supply chain at scale.
