I mean I'm not against the point being made here, but I also find the (insert Gollum voice) "ooh shiny building, nice!" mentality quite absurd. China's the future because it invests in manufacturing and future (green) technologies, not because it builds skyscrapers.

The blings are just the byproduct. I agree with that assessment.

Apple and Tesla seem to still use China to manufacture and source their cutting edge products and the CEO has at least been publicly nice to China. There are still things to be learn. Better targets would be American brands which would be easy for Chinese entrepreneur's to copy and push their version around the world like cola, fast food (mcdonalds), coffee (starbucks). The US seems to want to remove "Chinese" as something positive in the US, so should China remove American branding from China and out compete them in the world on those non-tech industries.
Apple provides minimal value-add to the Chinese economy. If they are not willing to dramatically increase the volume and value share of its Chinese components, they will be eliminated

What's going to be funny is what happens to all these 401k pensions, wealth management products, index funds etc, that depend on Apple

No, but i have had the misfortune of going to school, uni and work with them and also made the mistake of assuming they had the same values as east asians when having to confront the anglo power structure in the west. Let's say COVID really opened my eyes when indians became Trump's biggest supporters for his tech and trade war against China, not to mention the backstab at Doklam and Galwan and personal experiences with certain Indians could have only led me to regard them with such disdain.

Is it any surprise that Mossad aligned agents if not the entire CIA is working to discredit the student protests? The US is the nation that allowed IDF agents to spray noxious chemicals on american student protestors and did nothing about it. The anglosphere are not really countries or nations per se, but simply lands where Israeli zionists hold supremacy with english speaking servants and slaves.
Indian diaspora do send resources back to India. But it's not for the benefit of the masses.

For example do you think Rishi Sunak who is the UK prime Minister is going to be using his power to help all Indians? He will help create jobs and deals for Infosys which is conveniently his father in laws company. But he sure as hell isn't going to be doing it for the average Indian.

Speaking of which, anyone from the UK here? It's really amazing how the place has fallen and is clinging on to it's past glories. A lot of those problems you see in the US are also applicable to there as well. And yet everything there is still so expensive. They really are geniuses at marketing I guess.

I suggest nuking Disneyland in Shanghai. I visited last week, okay fun, there is a lot of American propaganda there, and American branding that will not be missed.

This is really the reason for all those high level U.S. visit# to China: inflation is killing US growth and seriously harming social order, so they need Chinese investment in U.S. debt (which the U.S. can steal later anyway).
ironically, trade sanctions on China will worsen inflation since China is the only nation that exports deflation with its mass of affordable goods.

I see, so OnlyFans rates went up by 1.6% in the first quarter (I'm half-joking)
