Beyond the obvious geopolitical and hegemonistic reasons why the US/West is twisting this "forced labor" narrative, the thing of it is, the extent the US intentionally misconstrues and redefines "forced labor" it equally is true that unless you are in the top 1%, or certaintly if you are in the bottom 80%, America is already a forced labor prison nation....

Recently I got a notice in the mail from NTTA (Texas Toll) stating that I owe then $38 bucks... but I always had a tolltag and money with their online account so it didn't make sense that they billed me based on my license plate scan anyway... I look at the details and its a mistaken $3 charge, but tacked on $10 late fee and another $25 dollar late fee for a "second notice" (I never recieved the first notice in the mail, but then again the USPS is not reliable these days lol) and then it threatens if I don't pay them immediately that the next third late payment next month will add a new $35 fee... in fine print it reads that they can charge me with a misdemeanor crime for refusal to pay fees and fines....

So when the Texas Consitution says there can be no imprisonment for debt, its absolutely false... If you for example cannot pay your credit card debit even in Texas they can sue you, then get a 'judgement' against you, which allows by law the local Sheriff to come to your home inside your house and start taking things away of value.

There are so many laws on the books both State and Federal level that the average American commits three felonies a day without even knowing about it. After the Civil War and they abolished Slavery, what they don't tell you is the US Consitution has a loophole, Slavery is STILL legal to this day if you have been convicted of a crime and sent to prison you are forced labor at 40 cents per hour is the norm.

America prisons are privatized so there is incentive to keep people locked up for long time and then when they are out, the Parole system trips them up so they go back into the prison system... and they are unemployable with any kind of record so once you get locked up your life is pretty much screwed...

America has more inmates than the world combined... and they are all doing forced labor because the US CONstitution allows for slavery as long as you are convicted of crime and locked up but the thing of it is there are so many insane laws on the books that any prosecutor can indict you if for something if they really wanted to... and also 90% of all criminal cases in the US are plea bargains, many of which are based on false confessions or just people not being able to afford to pay a lawyer and the public defenders all talk their clients into just taking the plea deals etc... and the Federal conviction rate is like 99%, so basically its guilty unless proven innocent beyond a reasonable doubt...

In truth, even I am someone making above average (not a lot but above the mean/median/average) in America I still feel like it is indebtured servitude (forced labor) because half of what I make goes to taxes, then off what Uncle Sam takes, even though Texas doesn't have State income tax, the property taxes are through the roof, and sales taxes locally are very high as well... All our roads highways in our metroplex that was originally paid for my tax payer money have mostly been reconverted into toll roads now, so thats another consumption tax... one is forced to buy health insurance, forced to buy home insuranced, forced to buy car insurance... in places like Texas you cannot survive without a car, and things are getting more and more expensive every week... The CPI inflation states are manipulated not to mention they skew more heavily towards the things that have inflated less but don't focus on the things that everyday people have to use the most, as these things have an inflation rate of more than 10% now... I was making only $45000 about ten years ago, and today I feel like my standard of living is actually much lower even though I am making lot more nominally

Also, lastly, America is rich enough to give everyone a basic income, a basic provision of bare necessities, like basic housing, roof over head, three square meals per day, clean water, basic healthcare, etc even without having to work. But it chooses not to do that. Minimum wage is still at $7.25 even though accounting for inflation even the govenrment admits it should be at $26 /hr now... So people at the low end are being shafted... it basically is already forced labor in the USA, because one way or another if you don't work/pay, you end up in jail, and after that you are a bona fide slave to the US empire.

Slow news day. It's like saying no WMD in Iraq or Al-Qaeda is supported by the Americans.
Biden said Saudi Arabia is a pariah state and that during his term he will make Saudi Arabia "the pariah that they are".

He already spoke to King Salman instead of genocidal war criminal MBS, but lets see how the relationship develops.
