I don't even go out of my way to look for white worship in China but I've encountered it more times than I can count. Just to give you an idea of how bad it is, I've stopped socializing with my white colleagues just to avoid it. The problem is there is just very little social obligation for Chinese not to be rude to each other, even in service settings, unlike in say Japan for instance. When there's no obligation not to be rude, people will just take the path of least resistance - be rude, don't bother with emotional labor, etc., like you see in the video. And then when you couple that with the high prevalance of white worship in China and the fact that it's a western brand the two women are working for, that's why you see such a large contrast between how the locals were shooed away while the white guy was treated like an esteemed guest.
