'Russian Salad' on the menu at NATO summit cafe in Madrid raises eyebrows

The dish's attractively high carb content appeared to trump its questionable name however, and it reportedly sold out within hours.

As they waited for the arrival of U.S. President Joe Biden and other world leaders in the high-security NATO summit venue on the outskirts of Madrid on Tuesday, international officials and journalists were bemused to find "Russian Salad" on the top of the in-house restaurant menu.

Sold out within hours at a NATO venue huh? Just like the black liquid gold called oil lmao.

Honestly that was weird lol

Europe is basically a puppet state at this point. Biden says "Jump!" and Europe says: "How high?"
No it is not a joke. Please remember that less than 2 years ago the USA was considering leaving NATO. Given this actuality and a certain probability of this happening in the future then it motivates European NATO memebers to increase spending and cooperation.

If Trump gets in he could leave NATO, it’s a possibilty, that’s why Germany wants the biggest Army.

Almost everyday we see countries reducing their reliance on the US MIC.

Unless its just to placate the US, I don't see EU becoming anymore independent and in fact they're becoming more like a US lapdog with their self-defeating actions and willingness to go along with US wishes without resistance nor objections.

Most people are aware that Germany is forced to buy a small batch of F35s because of their nuclear mission responsibility to NATO, they lietteraly had a choice of F18 or F35 because Eurofighter can’t perform the nuclear mission.

You should note how many F35s they bought and how many Eurofighter they are buying to see their real intentions.

I still don't see how they're gaining independence when they're still following NATO requirements which are mostly controlled and set by the US, and furthermore they're buying US military equipment making them more reliant on the US, contradicting the statement that countries are reducing their reliance on US MIC.

But maybe you're right, that this might be a 4D chess move and they'll replace their F35 in the future when they get a nuclear capable Eurofighter, however I'm disappointed and pessimistic after seeing all their theatrics and dumb self-harming moves against Russia and have no hopes for the future of their sovereignty.
