This reads more of a full blown military alliance targeted at China.

Haha that rejection of Biden by Xi must have been gigantic if he is throwing such tantrums

Also this is a good reason why Xi refuses to take Biden and the US seriously of their "cooperation" talk. US/Anglos always wanted to destroy China. See no more than the Australian case.

Australia has become so rich partly by selling to China. China has never been a security threat to Australia. China never had any territorial or other kinds of disputes with Australia. However, even with all that, Australia still allied with the US in order to destroy China.

Man, Xi must have been a prophet or whatever. He (+ his team) knew early on that these Anglo countries were beyond saving. Good for him that he realised that so early, and this is why a leader must have strategic vision. Mr.Xi is a prime example of such a leader.

All of his major strategic decisions have ultimately being proven right

Yes it all coincide with announcement on prime time TV news in the U.K. at 22.00 hour with great fanfare.

That Biden really don't take being jilted. I read somewhere he holds grudges. Well here we have it folks. But they forgot to mention Morrison's role in all this. Apparently, it was all his idea! So we can expect Australian's economy to take a nose dive this year then. I'm sorry for all our Chinese members down under.

The saving grace of this is that the Canadians and kiwis don't want any part of this alliance.

So 120 years ago was the 8 nations alliance that confront China, 120 years later, 3 nations still harboured the same mind set. Somehow I feel the ending is not going to end well for the aggressors this time around.

You know, what makes me more dissapointed, not angry, is for how cheap Australia sold itself. They literally only gained nuclear sub tech which I am sure the US will find a way to mess with it and keep Australia down

Nothing on economics, nothing on diplomacy. Infact, diplomacy will become worse for it because now everyone in the region will now know that Australia = US. While previously Australia could play the "neutral" card and thus have more diplomatic space.


TLDR: if you are going to sell yourself, at least put a high price on that. Why sell for so low?..

The cost would easily double and 10 yrs late .. so expect the first boat launch in mid 30s .. and at that time Chinese military will be far superior in term of technology and size than others apart from the US

And there is a real possibility it would get cancelled as well

I don't think anyone knew about this in Canada.

Canadians probably has the same question that the Chinese have.

What exactly is this alliance for? What will it do?

China cannot even counter it, because this alliance seems only capable of generating newspapers headlines in English language media.

It is like what that other English guy said. Much ado about nothing.

I think this AUSUK announcement is fake news.

This is a fake new alliance.

The last time these three got together to do anything, they ran away as fast as they could from Afghanistan.

Maybe AUSUK is gonna invade Fiji or something.
