At the end of the day, Vietnam and China are neighbors who live right next to each. No matter what happens China and Vietnam need to live with each other. Bringing a far away power to the mix doesn't change that reality. Not to mention, when that far away power has a habit of destabilizing regions.

So what we feared, happened. Biden is another "very stable genius" president elected by the democratic and informed American population...

What could go wrong withdrawing the troops first before getting the civilians out?
What I find most interesting (and, telling) is that no one is asking what all those “Americans” (and Westerners) are doing in Afghanistan, in the first place! They weren’t sent there by their governments, but their governments certainly were awarding contracts for their “services”. They knew, as well as we all did that the military was leaving, yet they chose to stay. And, now, it’s their governments’ responsibilities to get them out?

Colour me cynical, but this feels like the workings of US lapdog terrorists ISIS.

As things stood, the US was due to stop its evacuation mission leaving tens of thousands of Americans and hundreds of thousands of their Afghan lap dogs stranded and at the tender mercy of the Taliban. And worse, all of this was being done voluntarily without a single shot being fired.

That is indisputably the US choosing to abandon those people.

Now Biden had a very credible excuse for ending the evacuation flights exactly when he always wanted to without needing to look so blatantly heartless. Just think of the poor troops! They are getting blown up for this, so anyone wanting the evacuation mission extended is wanting more US soldiers to die and any more Americans who do die will have their blood on your hands!

How very convenient.

This also means that the US will be forcing its NATO "allies" hand on them also abandoning their own civilians. If the US troops evacuate then NATO cannot independently keep their own forces there
