Here's a twitter gem from Tobias Ellwood MP, the British "Chair of the House of Commons Defence Select Committee"

No comment... :D
Yeah great do the air bombing thus energize the Taliban force to do immediate revenge targeting the evacuation. So smart this political class.

If the Anglo do not be careful they may instigate a modern day tragedy in Kabul right at the end of their illicit and illegal rules-based adventure. The Anglo cannot even bear a life loss exchange of 1 to 100, one Anglo for 100 Afghanis, what to fight then.

Some day in future I hope China or Russia will help Afghanistan with some sort of adequate air defense to keep away the belligerent AF. My very wish to see the war-torn miserable country to stabilize and start to develop for better life. I have great pity on them and feel life is very unjust to them in those lost decades, from Soviet to Uncle Sam occupations. And I believe the Afghan people are basically just good, simple people with no chance to manage their own lives correctly, they just need to remove the rotten apples from the leadership class and mingle and make friends with the right and decent people!

Ashraf Ghani shocked the western world when it's been revealed that the man has actually abandoned the country he was insistent he would defend in blood. The Asshat is now in Tajikistan in hiding.

The President is actually doing something good for Afghan people in his last move avoiding the bloodshed. I praise him for this move. Of course his white master may have great disappointment, but it is not their own blood to shed!

He is an idiotic cretin who always shamelessly humblebrag about being a war hero. The only action he saw was kicking down doors and pointing guns at terrified women and children and shooting half blind farmers who didn’t like him and his buddies threatening and disrespecting their young and womenfolk in the dead of night. And even then he can’t win the firefight without calling in an air strike. That is why he wants the carrier there, modern western soldiers don’t know how to win a fight without air support.

26 July, Wang Yi met Deputy Sec of State Wendy Sherman in Tianjin, gave her a list of demands and basically farted in her face...
Days later, on 29 July Wang Yi received the Taliban delegation in Tianjin, in the same room. Taliban co-founder Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar and Sherman sat in the same chair. China's reception of Mullah Baradar was actually more comprehensive than the one given to Sherman.
Meeting the victorious and the defeated days apart in the same room...
