Currently as of 19/3/2026, they hold the strait of Hormuz, their proxies in eastern Iraq could conceivably pull a saddam Hussein and take eastern Saudi oil fields, this would give them about 40% of the oil production, assuming it’s not blown to crap, but even if it was, the strait Hormuz means they can dictate what oil is traded in, the toll income alone would rebuild Iran, not including any Chinese Marshall plans.

Today Iran mentioned about issuing 10% tax on each ship container. If you do the math, it will generate about 30-40 billion in revenue. That is a brilliant move. Professor Jiang did mentioned Iran will come out stronger in the future.

crude oil reserve is plenty at equivalent to 248 days of domestic consumption, effects on the domestic sector are telling a different story:

TL;DR

Japan is critically low on heavy oil and chemical precursor resulting:
  • Nation wide shortage of dental anesthetic, many patients had to postpone treatment or switch to methods that don't require anesthesia;
  • Disrupted supply of Isopropyl alcohol and surgical gloves to some of the hospitals;
  • Low supply on high grade marine oil (JIS-Heavy Fuel Oil A), domestic ship owners had to rely on C grade oil, which have high sulfur content and damage the engine;
  • A potato chip factory halted production;
  • Several public onsen shutting down;
  • A coal power plant had to scale back electrical output by 50%.

After the war, you think Iran will come out much stronger after rebuild?
At this rate, yeah. Iran is increasing its missile/drone strike tempo with new missile variants while the US and Israel are running out of interceptors and aren't even saying they want regime change anymore. What is the goal? To weaken Iran's regime so that someday the people will overthrow it??!! WTF is that? Right now, if they keep fighting, Iran's hitting harder and harder and if they stop fighting, Iran will have an oppertunity to put war efforts into accelerating a nuclear program (which they probably have started with the death of the last Ayatollah and his Fatwa). The US/Israel don't know what to do so the latest threat seems to be an attempt at ground invasion?? Of a country with over 90 million people in mountainous terrain?? LOL Iran welcomes it. So yeah, it's looking pretty good for Iran coming out stronger I'd say.
