Tbh, I don’t feel offended at all when American politicians and businessmen call us Chinese “peasants.” Every great civilization began with agriculture. Even modern civilization would cease to exist without peasants. It was with the strength of peasants that the Chinese Communist Party founded the Republic. Every Chinese, including the highest national leaders, should proudly declare themselves children of peasants. If one day, China’s elites were to maliciously curse one another by calling someone a peasant, it would signal that our civilization has lost its way.

i tire of dealing with barbarians and the cowardly vassals of barbarians, yet in civilised times we must deal with controlled violence. Either Russia or Vietnam should serve as China’s hatchetman, like if a state confiscates Chinese assets, a third party entity, a non state actor should obliterate infrastructure of said state. The Americans tried this with Azov and ISIS to mixed success.

Money talks, hard to strong arm nations into cutting off their top trading partner when you yourself have nothing to offer as an alternative and when you don't have enough bullets for everyone. If Trump can't even win over Millei, what makes him think the rest of LatAm will bend to his will?

I mean it hasn't changed from the Cold War because Pinochet declared a 3 day mourning after Mao death and he said China is one of Chile's close friends.
