There appear to be unverified rumors of former Chinese President Hu Jintao passing away just now? Or does anyone know what 486 and 271 mean?

View attachment 168617
This nickname originates from an analogy with computer CPU models:
Intel's early processor series included models like the 80186 (shortened to 186), 80286 (286), 80386 (386), and 80486 (486). These numbers were often used as metaphors for "generations of cores" (leadership).
Accordingly:
  • 186 → The first generation of core leadership (the Mao Zedong era)
  • 286 → The second generation of core leadership (the Deng Xiaoping era)
  • 386 → The third generation of core leadership (the Jiang Zemin era)

In that case, who does the 271 nickname refer to?

Don't need to worry about East Asian pop culture. They're doing fine. Blackpink topped the billboard in chart in 2025 for one of their singles and I don't even like Kpop.

Worry more about India or something. Your effort is more needed there.

Edit: I'm actually outdated. The real big one in 2025 is Golden by fictional K-pop girl group Huntrix.
Bro how old are you to listen to girl bands? Lool My entire point is that this entire culture is too childish, too gay and fit for people are who are perpetual children. You are proving my point.

Imagine a grown ass man knowing which kpop girl bands are popular at the monent. I can‘t even.

Edit: so based on the offended comments, you guys really listen to kpop girl bands? That exaplains certain things.

Nobody cares whether you like it or not, so your opinion doesn't matter.

Nothing wrong with it, if that's what they like.
