That's not "well it's like the RE ban but a bit stronger", this is some "Japan, you are now banned from chemistry" type thing. Look at that list, even common chemicals like iodine, activated carbon, mercury, ethonol, red phosphorus etc etc are banned on account of "could be used in the manufacturing of illicit drugs". Elsewhere in the list, even things like table sugar is banned because it could be used in making explosives. The best part is has a catch-all clause at the end that says anything further that could be used to strengthen Japan's military could be added to the ban list at a moment's notice.

To even start to make their own RE Japan would first need to rebuild back up their own set of modern industrial scale chemical production.

That’s the kind of thing that basically says, we are going to make this clear, once the USA is out of the picture, we are going to absolutely solve this entire situation in regards to ww2 on A permanent basis. I don't know about them being a Chinese colony, but I can totally see them becoming a large sized Philippine. They need to start making better hentai because it is gonna play a major role in their economy in the future.

Unfortunately, their animation industry has enshittified across the board, and this has impacted their adult animation as well. The last leg of their economy are the soap lands and pachinko parlors.

Unfortunately those numbers are still too low to really create serious attrition. It's a likely sign of marginal underinvestment in maintenance but that's about it.

I mean the whole campaign for the Han dynasty to crush the Xiongnu took over a century to complete. From paying tribute to them at the start to wiping them out is a long game.

Just gonna say. That it is increasingly in China interests to build thousands more nuclear warheads as an deterrences. Couple thousand warheads is no longer possible as a minimum deterrence. Trump 2.0 has gotten increasingly reckless and absorbed into the belief that they are invincible with zero consequences. Consider what Trump has been doing. Assassinations, attempted assassinations, and kidnapping of leaders and state leaders.

The most important one being Russia with several thousand warheads and the Americans still attempted to assassinate their state leader. It was Trump who told Putin to stay at that location during the phone call assuming he was there in the first place due to his KGB expertise. Plus attacking their nuclear triad of strategic bombers that were exposed due to previous nuclear arms treaties by using Ukraine as a cover to conduct CIA supported operations.

All this means is
1) Minimal Nuclear Deterrence is no longer realistic. MAGAmerica no longer fears nuclear war.
2) US demand for Chinese nuclear negotiations cannot be trusted in good faith. Even if parity is achieved.
3) US hopes that nuclear negotiations with China will expose their nuclear capabilities. In other to use third parties as cover to sabotage and attack through terrorists or US aligned non-nuclear proxies on China nuclear triad.
