Russia will launch the "Molniya" messenger for Russian and Chinese tourists.

How will it work?

December 5, 2025, 9:45 AM
According to him, Molniya is being created as a multifunctional service, primarily designed to facilitate interactions for tourists traveling between Russia and China. It will also help create sustainable digital corridors between the two countries.

The developer's CEO emphasized that the project's audience will not be limited to tourists in the future. In subsequent stages, it will also include small and medium-sized businesses dealing with Chinese goods. Mikhail Tolpyshkin noted that many Western messaging apps are blocked in China, and local alternatives are often highly specialized. Molniya, on the other hand, will enable unimpeded communication in both Russia and China.

Samsung halting SATA SSD production says leaker, warns of 18 months of SSD price pressure

Samsung is reportedly halting SATA SSD production in 2026, with the company to announce the news in January 2026, most likely at CES 2026 or shortly after.

If you're doubting this news as you're reading it, consider that memory industry veteran Dave Eggleston, was on MLID's recent podcast, where they were taking in questions from the audience. Eggleston said that NAND SSDs could be the next PC component to see price hikes across the board... oh yay, again.

MLID said that Samsung's move is much different from a reshuffle of its brand, with his sources saying that Samsung would be ending SATA SSD production altogether, after it has fulfilled existing contracts, rather than continuing to supply the same NAND to other consumer-facing labels.

This is a genuine supply reduction, not a rebranding, and furthermore, SATA SSD storage becoming harder to buy could kick off panic buying with system builders and businesses that still rely on the SATA interface, which would increase prices considerably, notes MLID.

MLID also compared the Samsung situation with Micron's recent decision to nix its Crucial consumer RAM brand, that he said is largely symbolic in terms of market impact. Micron, as well as SK hynix and Samsung, supply DRAM memory chips to all third-party brands like G.SKIL, ADATA, Corsair, and others.

Micron DRAM will continue to be installed into consumer PC products through other manufacturers, so overall supply won't be impacted all that much. In comparison, Samsung halting its SATA SSD production removes an entire class of finished consumer products from one of the world's largest suppliers of NAND. MLID says that Samsung's move is much "worse" for consumers, as it will directly affect how many drives are available, not just who sells them.

In the future, MLID says that industry forecasts suggest pricing pressure will ease again once DRAM manufacturers move towards the consumer space again -- most likely in 2027-2028 -- driven by local AI workloads and next-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles that require super-fast SSDs and huge amounts of RAM.

I guess the cartel is moving ahead with making storage devices cost as much as an GPU.

Europe does not have much to offer infact US collaboration with Russia.
just what i recollected from news.
Rare Earth complete supply chain much beyond than what US can do.
Battery tech from same firm that provide Uranium fuel to US.
Most advanced titanium
AI that will give Arabs and US commanding lead.
Aerospace engines. Yes Russia has advanced so much that US can disband CFM. even MS-21 license better than 737.
Boeing engineering center much bigger than what was before.
flight routes.
there is Biotech, Arctic (DP world/Rosatom) and ASML replacement.
see this picture. This Japan integrated into US and this Premium airline has to go through separate long testing phase to meet Royal Standards. This kind of collaboration Royals want between US and Russia but Putin phrase Russians must adopt traditional values is hinderance.

Just realised also how “izzat” was why the Indians have been so obstinate and intransigent about the border demarcation even when the Chinese side generously offered an exchange of territories. Their hurt pride over getting owned in the 62 war meant they could never use realpolitik to do what was best for their country because they’d have to face their own groups over having given up territory.

Culture follows politics. Once upon a time Chinese women turned up their noses at westerners until the century of humiliation. The school shooter civilisation may not take too kindly to having their Asian consolation prizes being removed from their incel grasps.

That's a lot of demand for RMB that won’t be going into US debt.

The death toll from the terrorist attack on a Jewish community gathering at Sydney's Bondi Beach has reached 15, with an additional 29 hospitalised injuries including two police officers responding to the incident. The two attackers are believed to be father and son. The father is now deceased and the son, Naveed Akram, is in custody. Improvised explosive devices were subsequently located at the scene. A member of the public, Ahmed al Ahmed, wrestled a shotgun from one of the attackers and prevented further loss of life. He was shot twice while doing so and remains in hospital. The six guns used in the attack were licensed to the deceased father. Further law reforms around gun ownership are likely.

Because unfortunantly traitors exist.
Visiting other countries shouldn’t be an indication as to who is a traitor or not, otherwise we would be calling for the beheading if anyone who goes there or tries out their products. I think it is good for people to got there to see what we can learn and then ultimately do better then them in the long run. Much of Chinas achievements in gaming and electronics came from learning what’s good from Japan while keeping out what is bad. Being flexible is what ultimately wins real friends because while China has good trade relations with much of the world and is making bang over buck, what does Japan have when you consider its status as a vasal what holds them back so much along with its status as the Asian jackass that has never apologized because of the goddamn yanks. They could’ve freed themselves from this predicament with good relations with China but their past action all but made this impossible. Besides in the past , I used to like Japanese products but now, since China does better then them in almost everything except sushi (which I can do myself for the most part), it’s easier to make the transition and I no longer look towards Japan for innovation in general (Chinese products as of now have far surpassed them as of now). If Japan doesn’t sort itself out sooner or later, they will end up being replaced in everything and even the nation of Japan will be replaced by the Chinese people when there demographics end up being the death of most of them anyways

India was heavily colonized by the west, but you never see Indian women being extra attracted to western men. Same thing with Arab women. They are not rejecting their own to fall for western men. So one needs to reflect why East Asian culture produces women who are worshipping white men so much.

I think East Asian culture is too open to foreign marriage and dating in general. While Indian or Arab cultures see dating outside your culture as extremely negative. That's why you see this difference.

So called white sexpats cannot exist in the middle east for example, despite huge number of expats actually living there for work.
