This news absolutely infuriates me!!! this is such a weak and unacceptable response by us!!!
If the government knows what they are doing, then all shipment of any Nexperia chips from Europe should be banned, which will force global companies to switch to Nexperia China's products and let the Dutch Nexperia go bankrupt. And absolutely NO chips made by Dutch Nexperia should be packaged, shipped or delivered under any circumstances and REGARDLESS of reason. Shipment of chips made by Nexperia China in China would be on an extremely strict case-by-case basis (refer to point 3 below).
If the Dutch or EU want that to be reversed, then:
1. Pay Trillions in reparations for the huge financial damage, reputational damage and damage of livelihood to countless Nexperia workers caught in their barbaric seizure (which is also a very serious Human rights violation that requires UN investigation).
2. Pay another Trillions in war reparations due to a completely unprovoked and outright declaration of War against China. (The barbaric cold war emergency law they used to steal Nexperia literally requires a declaration of War to enforce! we are just simply going by the basic rule of law and fundamental principles). (Amount of war reparations could be negotiated given an exchange of parts of Dutch sovereignty as per the common norms of any post-war peace treaty.)
3. EU's (or anyone that need rare earths or chips) are required to officially condemn against Dutch's unlawful, barbaric and uncivilised thief of a legitimate Chinese company, which is a complete disregard of the "civilised rule of law" and basic human principles. And since EU likes to lecture and condemn others so much, this should be more than easy as it is actually the most reasonable thing for them to criticise and condemn about in the history of their whole organisation.
4. Dutch PM need to personally apologise to China and Wingtech, and personally convey his apology both in writting and in terms of tangible actions.
Otherwise, other European governments
will think they can seize Chinese assets and not face repercussions as long as they return those seized assets in the end while doing significant damage to Chinese interests. The current course of action taken by us is completely NOT acceptable!!!
