Reminds me of my one run in with the FLG in NYC. My very quick reply to her when I saw the content of the placard she was holding (CPC Organ harvesting) was "白痴才会相信你" [translation = only an idiot will believe]

But, plenty of those there I suppose.
SeeSeePee did technically harvest their organs though — their brains.

China suspends part of control measures on dual-use items export to US

China will suspend the implementation of a clause in an announcement it issued in 2024, which involves the export control of dual-use items to the United States, the Ministry of Commerce said on Sunday.

The suspension of the second clause of the Announcement No. 46 of 2024 takes effect from Sunday until Nov. 27, 2026, the ministry noted in a statement.
According to the clause, now suspended, the export of dual-use items related to gallium, germanium, antimony and superhard materials to the United States is not to be permitted in principle, while stricter examinations on end-users and end-use purposes are to be conducted regarding exports of the dual-use item of graphite to the United States.

I personally don't see an issue with this, you ideally want to keep the US military dependent on your supply chains and disincentivize them from developing their own indiginous material production. Pausing these export restrictions but leaving open the possibility of reimplementing them is a good way to do that.

There are millions of vastly superior and more enjoyable places in the world than South Korea. Only retarded Chinese that love kpop insist on going to South Korea. I was last in South Korea in the 2010s and it was a joke. Really not worth visiting even once in your life.
Yeah. If the Chinese want to explore Korean culture, they can always visit Yanbian and North Korea. I believe the Korean culture in those areas are far more authentic than that mess in South Korea.

That sucks, but maybe it's to cripple their RE efforts.
Yeah I think that is the longer term plan. With the RE ban on and off in a matter of months, no capitalist in the West is gonna invest billions to build out a new RE industry.

If the US and the rest of the Free World behaves as predicted, then no large scale RE industries are gonna take off. It's a repeat of what they have been doing for over a decade. The West and their lackeys are gonna talk and talk about building an alternative RE supply chain, but then nothing tangible happens.

For China, this is one way to maintain their near-absolute control of the supply of RE. By de-incentivizing the West from setting up an alternative RE supply chain.

Anyone want to try explaining this one?

China REALLY wants Trump to invade Venezuela!

But half joking aside, while the Americans are infamous for loving to create problems for the other side before big negotiations and offer to solve those problems to get real concessions for basically nothing, I think they are about to get a real masterclass in how many such cards the Chinese bureaucratic machine can churn out for Beijing at will.

So REE exports went from officially banned to merely practically banned. Chinese companies are no longer banned from selling REE to the Americans, they just all universally, independently choose not to, for purely business and economic reasons of course. Easiest would be that a certain Chinese SOE just bought out all of China’s annual output of those REE the Americans are so desperate for, for the next decade. Here, we have a fully signed contract dated 1 day before the export ban was lifted. Hands are tied, computer says no. You understand.

You don't want to say an outright no because then they might be desperate enough to try and build up REE industry. Say yes and take the order. Put on wait list and tell them to wait for their turn. Oops, typos found in paperwork so they must re-submit. No, of course they're not banned, they just have to do the paperwork properly. But now they have to go back on the wait list at the bottom all over again etc.. Can string them along like that so they delay in building up REE industry themselves. Maybe dribble a tiny amount irregularly so they remain uncertain and cannot determine if it would be cheaper/easier to buy or to try and build up the industry themselves.
